    Graizen.

I awoke with his name on my lips. I don't know why he was the very first thought when I opened my eyes, but I quickly shoved it away as I got up to get ready. I went through my morning routine, getting everything I needed ready for school. After Graizen left my house on Saturday night, I went straight to sleep. I was so mentally exhausted from the night before, I basically slept through all of Sunday. My mind didn't want to accept the day. I hid in my room from dusk until dawn, trying to drown out the world around me. I didn't even bother to check my phone. I knew exactly whose name appear on the screen. I specifically remember Jax stopping by, but I wasn't ready to face him yet. I was still deciding on telling him what happened. To be honest, I'm not even sure he would believe me. I don't even know if I'll ever see Graizen again, and I'm not sure if I ever want to. The thought of his silver eyes made my heart race, but I pushed it away as I made my way down the stairs. I swung open the door, going straight to my car. My body was quickly stopped, as I collided with a hard chest. I instantly backed away, meeting the eyes of an angry Jax.

"Hey, buddy! I sure missed you." I hesitantly said with a forced smile as I patted his shoulder. The anger in his eyes didn't disappear as he stared down at me.

"Forty-two. That's how many times I called you, wait, what the hell is on your cheek?"

Jax raised his voice as he turned my cheek towards his line of sight. Memories of the man who attacked Mason throwing me against the wall flashed through my mind. I hadn't even noticed my cheek taking most of the impact at the time. I winced as his fingers brushed over it, worry clouding his face.

    "Who did this to you?"

His tone was serious, any hint of calmness gone from it. I just shook my head, brushing him off as I fixed my hair to cover most of it.

"I'm fine, Jax, really. I walked into a pole after getting groceries yesterday."

Jax wasn't buying it, his eyes sternly staring into mine. I could've come up with a more believable story.

"Did Mason do this to you? I knew he was going to start getting violent with you, I can h-"

I quickly cut Jax off, putting my hand on his mouth.

"Mason would never hurt me. Ever. I'll tell you how this happened, just give me time, okay? I'm still trying to piece it all together myself."

Jax didn't seem happy, but simply nodded before pulling me against him. He let out a deep breath, pulling me ever closer to him.

    "Are you sure you're okay?"

My mind didn't ignore that he was being physical with me once again.

    "Yeah."

I breathed out, my voice muffled by his chest. I wasn't even sure myself, but I had to be. I locked the door to my house, looking back as I made my way to Jax's car. I almost gasped as I saw Graizen's car parked next to my driveway. My car was parked next to his.

Did he drive my car back here, for me?

Was he in there, right now?

My eyes couldn't see past the dark tint in his windows. Was he watching me? My body shivered at the thought, as I quickly slipped myself into Jax's car. A part of me wanted to go right up to Graizen and confront him. I pushed away those urges as my eyes turned towards Jax.
