Lately, l have been thinking too much it's hurting. I guess someday I'll have to continue my career. I think that day, is today!
Luckily  my boss built a hospital in British so I can simply continue working here.

" Good morning! "

I say as I enter the hospital which is busy like it's supposed to be.

" Doctor! , what in the world are you doing here? "

One of my medical students asks.

" Is it wrong to come and see how my students are doing?  "

After they completed their training they were sent here to work.

" LOGAN! , you don't know how relieved I am to see you ."

"Fill me in on the patient. "

I say know exactly why he's happy to see me. He wants me to join him in surgery.

" She's a black woman, in her twenties, and she's just been shot in the head! And we are taking her in for surgery. She just came in about 5 minutes ago, she was brought in by an ambulance and she was having problems breathing on her way her. "

This is Caleb my amigo from high school, we were supposed to study the same things but he didn't like surgeries so he did something else. Which got him nowhere. Then I brought him to Zen de hospital ...
I run and wear the necessary attire and I'm in the surgery room. OMG, this looks bad. The patients face is fully covered, to protect her.

" Don't worry madam its all over, luckily the gunshot didn't reach your brain or its cells. But you may not remember some thing's, but sooner you will regain your memory. and the scar will heal quicker than expected. Take care. "

I tell the patient I just saved. And before I walk out, she pulls my hand, which reminds me of how Uthando would always do that. I feel the warmth of her hands, which are still trembling. I turn around and hold her hand with both my hands and sit by her side.

" Doctor "

She begins as I remove the clothes from her eyes.

" Ah-mm. "

Before she continues I yell from out of the blue

" Uthando !!!, tell me I'm dreaming. "

" No your not dreaming doctor it is me Uthando, but how do you know my name? "

"you're really don't remember me? I'm Logan? You best friend? The one you left for 2 years? The one who just saved you? "

" No, not at all. I think I had a guy friend back in Africa, he was tall, a white man, with the most dreamy hazel eyes .You kinda remind me of him. "

She says smiling. I wish I didn't have to see her in this condition.
I get up to the walkout

" Wait, can I talk to you? "

" of course, why not. "

I say with the biggest smile. I'm completely shocked. My mind is just wondering around. I have no idea. What's going with me at this moment?

She sits but she looks really uncomfortable, with the bandage on her head. I grab a chair and sit closer to her

" Are you all right? You do know you can trust me. "

" Yeah, I'm fine. It's just my head is pounding "

" Then take it easy, if you need a break just let me know. So Uthando what's the problem? "

As much as I really would like to have her in my arms at this exact moment, I have to resist and do my job, either way, it would not really mean anything to her because she still can't identify who I am.

" well ... "

She begins crying. she looks up , her eyes drenched in tears . Is this what it feels like to see the person that means so much to you in pain ... then she finally says :

" I've given up on life . "

She says with her head buried in hands , tears rolling down . Those unnecessary frowns ; leaning against the wall , her emotions are running free ...

After that talk , life has been a real journey filled with wild emotions. I did some tests on her , it seems she may never regain her memory . I've tried reminding her of things we did together - but nothing!
I even told her about her mother , once again she thought I was just making things up .

With all that done and still nothing , I even tried flirting with her , but good old Mike has got her bowing at his feet . Now I guess not everyone will ever find true love .
