Part 4 [7] Joy

After last week, I believed that miracles do happen ...
And with that joy, I realised that till today the world still holds a lot of danger.

Uthando regained her memory, it was hard to believe at first till she told me about our " FRIENDSHIP LIFE " which will always remain that way because Mike has done his magic once again!

Sitting in front of the TV, like a lost soul. My new friend Skyler ( the cashier at Mike's bar/restaurant). After that day, I went there often and we became really close. He finds me sitting on the couch and
SNAP!
I'm back to reality. And he begins from nowhere ...

" Logan, I'm grateful for you. Your the first real friend I've ever had. And it been really hard to fit in with the way I grew up! I too can't believe what happened to me sometimes.

After my mother conceived me she died. I was left with a gangster for a father. During those times he desperately needed money so he took a loan. I was 7 then and I had a mind of my own; Well that's what I thought. The man he owed came and started removing our furniture, I tried to stop them but my dad dragged me back. He then offered me to the guy he owed, but before he let me go he asked for some cash on the side; because apparently, I was special and one of a kind.

The man and his wife treated me like a slave because that was my purpose of course! They had 5 daughters . each one was so different ; my favorite was the middle child . she was the sweetest and we later became friends . When the man died, he made me promise to marry his third daughter. I couldn't do that because I realized something ...

Instead, I ran away. I decided to look for my father I couldn't find him, but I didn't lose hope. After that, I met the girl I was supposed to marry. she would bring me food and she even helped pay for the room I was sleeping in. I told her why I couldn't marry her, and she left! That was when I started working at the bar.

Till today I still haven't found my biological father, it's just me. But Logan you're different, Uthando is just somewhere around the corner, I wish my dad lived around the corner, I'd show him how much I love him despite all the pain he has caused me; because I'm forever great full to him: he took me in when he could have left me, raised me for the 7 years I spent with him, he showed me love and somehow I receive money from him. "

After all that , there's nothing more to say . He tries to hold back the tears but we both know it's too much to hold back. Tears roll down both our faces and when we realise we're crying we stop and

" Ha ha ha ha ha "

We're laughing

I've made up my mind, if I can't say it I should just write it.
With Skyler sited there having finished all the snacks. He looks at me and says

" So if you can't say it; writing it is your plan B. Dude you need help. "

" Don't worry, I'm a completely different person when I write, trust me. "

He just shakes his head and gets comfortable in his bed
( After I earned my first pay, I sent some to my mom and my aunt. I also got a bonus for performing a miracle on Uthando. With that money, I got myself an apartment. Which Skyler  and I share, and Bill's are shared among us too even though Tommy doesn't earn much. He wants to live a life that he earns for himself despite the wealth he received from his " father " . )
