PART 8 { 14 } Destination...

I still have a couple of hours to win the love of my love back! Except I've lost all my confidence.

"Logan, do you need a ride? "
" No thank you. "

I wanna be late, because I want to try the same thing I tried last time, except this time I'm certain Uthando is the bride. I quickly go to a barber. Uthando always told me my hair looks nice when in a high ponytail. So I get my sides shaved leaving the middle part with hair in a ponytail. I must admit I look very nice.
I invited my mother and gave her my invitation card. I couldn't let her miss it even if Uthando publicly rejects me!
I get on my tuxedo and a bow tie. I place the diamond silver ring in my pocket and I'm on the road.

I get there and I see two buff guys at the entrance. Even though they are supposed to be intimidating they look friendly. Only then do I realised I'm here illegally. I call Jade and tell him to help me get in. I don't know what he said to the two men but I get in. I walk halfway and I hear the priest say

" if anyone objects please speak now or forever hold your peace! "
Everyone giggles.

" I object! "

" (gasps) Who are you? "

An old man says. He resembles similar fractures as the groom so I assume he is his father.

" Priest you tell me, how can two people who don't love each other life together for eternity? "

" How do you know they don't love each other? "

" Uthando, we are in the house of the lord! Tell me and everyone sitting here that you don't love me, tell them that you despise me that I don't mean anything to you and that you love my friend Caleb ?"

I never knew Caleb was the prime minister's son till he confessed it to me, that Friday when I bumped into him. I asked him for a favour and he admitted that even though he too had started falling in love he would let her go.

" Say something, Do you or do not love me Uthando Mmako-il! You're under my oath. "

" Logan! You did me wrong, you broke not only my heart but my trust as well. You lied to me, you used me, you deceived me but, I can never deny you. Yes, you made a fool out of me, you cheated on me but I can never walk out on you! Be....be...because I LOVE YOU, DUMMY!!!"

She says and then runs and hugs me. Once again I have her in my arms, this time I won't let her go...
I wipe away her tears and take out the ring :

" Uthando, you always tell me that life is a scary big roller coaster and I want to be your partner through it, I'll be there to hug you when you get scared I'll be there to support you when things get hard, I'll be there for you even if everyone leaves. Therefore will you marry me? "

" Yes, Yes, Yes!!!"

Caleb steps down and he congratulates us. The priests give everyone an hour to freshen up before Uthando and I get married.

And I get to see her walk down the ale. She looks beautiful in a lace corset bodice. She's wearing a veil so I can't really see her face.

It's time for the vows :

" if I knew this would happen I would have written something. But I think it's better this way although I don't know where to start. Firstly you look gorgeous just as the day I first saw you. I thought you were like all the other girls but I was wrong. The day you were diagnosed with cancer I was happy that I would spend time with you but I was also sad because I had very little hope you'd survive. Back then we were both still kids but what I felt was real. You never abandoned me you always came by the hospital to check up on me. You were there with me when I got fired, you help me get back on my feet. You even helped convince the hospital President that it wasn't my fault. Uthando your my best friend, no offence Skyler. Your my shoulder to lean on, your one person I know I can count on. I really appreciate the faith you had. I'm sorry I let you down. I can't begin to explain why I love you. But I can say one thing YOUR BALCK IS BEAUTIFUL, none could compare. "

She says hers and the priest says

" I pronounce you both one, Logan you may kiss your bride. "

I gently remove her veil. I realised that she removed all her makeup. I'm glad she did because I get to marry the person I fell in love with. She looks Gorgeous. I lean in for the moment we've both lived for. She places her arms around my neck and I place mine on her tiny waist. And it happens. She slowly pulls away and hugs me. The crowd goes wild as we walk out.
Right now I'm the happiest man till before we reach the exit I hear my mom call out to me

" Logan, now you have her. I can take my last breath peacefully knowing you will always be happy. "

And I run to hug her, she dies in my arms...
I look up at Uthando and smile knowing I fulfilled my mother's last wish.

I've reached my destination. I have the love of my life with me, I'm success full. I saw the biggest smile on my mothers face, Skyler is happy, Uthando has found family and most importantly we are all happy.

She's black women who possess strength and boundless beauty. Her natural hair, dark skin, full lips, and her body are one of her few unique characteristics. I've to study Her for a year now to know that there is more to her than just her features. And I can still stay that even today...
