"Isn't it so sad when you get hurt so much, you can finally say 'I'm used to it' "

Crew in the making

I leant against my locker reading my timetable.

I first had English then PE, Geography and Media.

I looked down at the clothes that I was wearing, feeling strange at the way it revealed my stomach.

I had a bruise a few inches above the cut but Katy really wanted me to wear it so I did.

I just had to be really careful not to lift my arms up too high and I was good.

Not taking any notice of my surroundings i pushed off of the lockers only to hit the back of a boy.

He hadn't turned around yet and was laughing, looking like he had caught a football thrown by his mate.

Once he made contact with me he turned around to see who it was "Bro look you made me hit someone"

I looked to the left of him to see who threw the ball. "Sorry" He said blushing a bit.

"What brings you here hot stuff?" His mate randomly inquired. From what I saw he was the one who threw it.

I internally threw up, cringing at his attempt of a pick up line?

"Yeah well I'm new" I blandly said combing my fingers through my hair.

"New ey? I can take you to class if you want" he then continued, obviously over shadowing his friend that pushed me in the first place.

"Uh no" I said I was trying my best to now leave the awkward conversation.

He gently put a strand of my hair behind my ears.

"Don't touch me" What was he doing? I didn't even know the guy.

"Oh but aren't we new friends?" He whined still not letting me leave.

I looked away from him and made eye contact with his friend who ,again, was the one who pushed me in the first place.

Come on dude. Help. Anyone?

I tried to push against his chest but his strength made him impossible to budge.

As if God answered my prayers I heard a deep low voice behind him.

"She said. Let. Go." It was Felix and he didn't look happy one bit.

The boy holding me to the lockers clenched his teeth tighter still ignoring Felix's words. "Ahhhh Felix, my pal. My best buddy" he started "This doesn't concern you"

Felix sighed and hit a point near the boys neck, instantly knocking him out.

I stared in shock at the now unconscious boy who laid on the ground.

Felix looked at the other boy and gave him a "Get out of here" look before relaxing his face.

"Where the fuck did you learn that from?" I said not sure of what else I could really respond with.

He shrugged his shoulders simply answering "Taekwondo?"

The way he answered made me uncertain. It seemed like he was asking a question but not.

Also, I doubted they taught you nerve points in Taekwondo.

Even though I did second guess things I just let it be and allowed Felix to show me where English was.
