"If you can't be happy at least you can be drunk"Visage
"Woah" I said, raising my voice louder than I normally would.
The music was so loud. It was drumming into my head like I was being hit with a hammer. Over and over again.
Katy pulled my arm "Come get the drinks with me"
"You know we can't that's underaged drinking"
"Don't worry about it! This club lets a lot of things slide"
Why did that make me feel so uneasy? I normally didn't care about what the law had to say. It's not like it did me any good though.
"I don't know..." I wavered. "How'd you even find this club?"
She tapped her nose while looking at Lucy then back at me "Kye and Felix took us here once"
"They did?" was all I could manage to say. If that was the case then either of them could've came tonight. That've would be so embarrassing considering I was wearing such skimpy clothes.
"Oh stop and relax, loosen up a bit " Katy said grabbing mine and Lucy's hand.
"Your right I guess"
I looked to the ground. I wanted us to enjoy our evening. I didn't want to be the one that held everyone back.
"I'm always right" she grinned and I raised my eyebrow in denial while she laughed.
We went to the bartender and Lucy ordered for us.
"I've got you both a jack and coke. I've got to stay sober to drive us home so the best I can have is a Margarita" She said, leaning on the counter.
I nodded and looked over. Realisation hit me. It was really packed. Men were drinking and girls were flirting. The dance floor was filled and everyone was moving their body to the music. It was hectic.
The smell wafting the air was thick. It was a strong smell of alcohol all around and a tad hint of sweat.
"How does anyone think in this noise" I said, practically shouting.
"Welcome to clubbing" Katy replied "It's great isn't it?"
"Yeahhh" I whispered.
"Ok 2 jack and cokes and a Margarita for you ladies" The bartender said turning around to get a better look at us.
His gaze shifted from Katy, and lingered on Lucy then slowly fixed on me. It was slightly uncomfortable but I didn't think anything by it. He seemed like a genuine guy.
"Thanks" I said reaching for my drink.
"Anytime"
"Wow I've never had this before"
"You haven't?" He questioned a bit shocked. His gaze was definitely starting to annoy me though.
I chuckled, combing my fingers through my hair "No I haven't. You do stare at me a lot though"
It was light but he blushed. He definitely blushed. It was kinda cute.
