"Each new chapter of our lives requests an old part of us to fall and a new part of us to rise"

"Ok well ask away" he said with a smile.

"Ok so what's up with your eyes huh?" I said with my eyebrows raised. I don't care if it sounded rude, this guy shared such an amazing eye colour with me and it was annoying.

"What do you mean?" He chuckled in amusement.

"It's got this red tint to it and if I'm not wrong  that stuffs really rare"

"Oh really? And you would know this how?" He said still smiling.

"Uh well...none of your business!" I said turning my face away from him in a shy manner.

"Haha I'm only teasing. I got these eyes from my father. Mine may seem so strong but his is a deeper wash of red believe me. I got my dark brown hair colour from him too. Mother looked nothing like me"

"Mother looked?" I said a bit curious. He said that in past tense.

"Well uh she's not alive anymore" he said awkwardly while rubbing his neck again.

"Oh I'm sorry" I replied while twiddling with my fingers "mine too"

He looked up at me in silence. Great, now we were back to this again.

"Well you tell me" he said while smiling again "have I told a lie yet?"

I stared at him in confusion. No he hasn't but why would he need to confirm that with me.

"No" I said while sipping more of my drink "you haven't. Why did you need to ask?"

"I don't know you still seemed very uncomfortable with me which I wouldn't blame but trust me, I just want to talk"

"Alright then" I said looking up at him "What's your story?, why did you feel the need to talk to me?"

"Well, this may seem more of a surprise but I know you" He said with a serious expression.

"Know me?" I questioned while cocking an eyebrow "I haven't even lived in this country long"

"Which also confirms my assumption...tell me...is your name Regan Marshall?"

"How did you-"

"I've been searching for you for a very long time, 12 years to be exact but you were nowhere to be found"

"What are you talking about?" I exclaimed now loosing my patience. He was no longer just a guy who wanted to talk. He was scaring me.

"Before you leave, take heed to my words" His smile was gone and he was bland in expression. Where was the smiley guy I saw an hour ago.

"Who says i was going to leave?" I asked more suspicious. In my mind I thought about leaving but how did he know?

"I told you Regan. I know you" He smirked.
