"Nothing beats having girls as friends. They know how to pamper you right and how to dress you on sight"
It's a girls night out"Why do you have a scarf around your neck?" Katy asked while Lucy also stared at me in curiosity.
Only because Kye gave me like 10 hickeys. No biggie. It's not like the bruises have stayed on my neck for a week now or anything.
"Oh no reason" I muttered.
Katy shrugged her shoulders in amusement "Weird child"
"I'm a child who's still older than you" I chuckled.
Lucy was curled in her bed flicking through the Tv channels. It had been a while since I had a proper conversation with her. I hoped she was better.
I couldn't really tell if she hated me or not. I wouldn't blame her. I didn't act like a friend that day.
She did seem pretty content with me being here, after all...she didn't kick me out.
"Hey Lucy" I looked at her. It would be a miracle if she was actually bothered in talking to me "How's things going with uh....Felix"
She shrugged her shoulders but it wasn't in disgust towards me. "Weird I guess? He talks to me more frequently now"
"That's good" I smiled. Did that my talk with him worked?
"Yeah he's really opened up to me about what he's going through...it was cute. He's cute"
"Awww" I grinned noticing Lucy lay back as if she was reminiscing a memory.
"What did you say to him by the way" she questioned "I saw you guys talking by the lockers when I came out of class to go to the toilet"
Shoot.
I didn't really want to tell her everything, because that would mean she would find out the fact that I did kinda like Kye.
I wasn't even sure of my own feelings. He would shout at me and break me one day, then tell me such nice things and make me feel good another. I definitely wasn't ready to admit that.
"Um just bits and bobs. I also told him that I didn't like him like that"
"You did?" She said shocked.
"Yeah. He said he didn't feel that way either so it was good"
"Huh" she replied in fascination "I guess I was wrong...sorry for lashing out at you"
I smiled at her generously. It was good to see her light back in her eyes from before. "No problem...Not going to lie I thought you hated me"
"Hated you? No...maybe I was a little jealous but nothing of the sort"
"I see...well I'll try to be a little more forward with guys from now on" I laughed and she smiled.
"Ugh" Katy groaned from behind us, breaking the lovely moment "Enough of this sappy stuff. I'm bored let's do something"
We all looked at each other in thought.
"Dance yoga?" Lucy asked.
"Yeahhh lets not" I giggled "And you do realise there's an official name for that right? It's Zumba"
"Blah Blah yeah yeah all I heard was Dance Yoga" She replied.
We both looked at each other and laughed some more. This was nice. I never really knew how much I missed this.
