"Don't eat that" Ashton demanded when I took the toast on the table. I put it down and groaned in annoyance. And sat down across him. "Have this instead" He slides a bowl of frosted flakes cereal to me and handed me a spoon.

"Thanks" I mumbled, then head on to eating my late kind of breakfast. It's calming because there's no noise booming inside the house, which is unusual because I'm used to it being loud and stuff like that. You know being in a band. The only sound that was present is my chewing and Ashton's whistling.

"So, how's the date with Cal?" Ashton brought on, and I almost choked at his mention of me and my date with Calum. I coughed and drank some water. "You okay?" He questioned, when I was done putting myself into disaster.

"yeah, I'm fine." I divulged and went in on my eating again, "Okay! Spit it out. I'm not getting any younger here, Anna" Ashton ordered, and I thought I was getting away with his grip in our conversation. Wrong again.

"Tell me what happened" He pushed, and I swallowed my meal and gestured for him to wait up. "I want all of the details" He added, and if you ask me, he really sounds like a nosy busy-body, instead of a supportive big brother.

"We went to eat lunch"

"Where?"

"At this really fine restaurant"

"Did you guys held hands?"

"Does it matter?" I ask, and he glared at me like he's about to kill me with daggers, "Fine, yeah. We kinda did. You happy now?"

He didn't reply, instead he beckoned me to go on with the story. It's quite a story if you ask me. It felt like months since it happened, but it was just yesterday. So, as we arrived at the restaurant he was talking about, some random -- well, not so random-- fans went to him and asked for the usual selfies and a split half hour talk. But as always, we found a way to escape and have fun on our own, though It felt all strange, just the mere thought of me, on a date with Cal, just it's so inevitably inevitable really.

"How long have you been at the restaurant?"

"Is that really relevant?"

"Yeah, so I know how much time you had ... you know... doing... yeah! Just answer the question"

"A couple of hours, then we head off to his place"

Believe it or not, but I felt goose bumps all over me, when I took in the sight of his home. I was about to ask if he lives alone, and I'm happy with what I got as an answer. Of course he still lives with his family. As if I didn't know. The Hoods had a very nice and comfortable home. And everyone was welcoming and very warm. I once again found a familiar face from Ashton's 20th and indeed I was right that Mali is related to Calum. They're siblings. She was nice, and kind, and all things sweet. We sort of have something in common, sorta. I don't know what that it, but we get along fine. I knew for a minute that Calum was growing impatient, he's just not making it obvious. I head on with him to the kitchen and there I found a man older than we are, old enough to be Calum's dad. And I was right, by the looks of him, they do look alike. They have the same smile and the same eyes. Calum greets him and I was there to say hello as well.

"You're the girl, my son's been talking about" was the first thing he said to us, to me. I suppressed a smile, don't know if I should be embarrassed or happy, a little both maybe.

"Dad" Calum warned.

"You talk about me?" I asked, and I can't help but smile at the way Calum's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Cute.
