It's been a week and a half since I came here and I feel so Australian, if there's such a term. I've been in good terms with Mom. I guess. We talk casually, and she didn't brought up about what happened eleven years ago, since that incident that night. I've been hanging out with, as I like to call him, my big brother, Ashton and his band mates.
If Asia sees me now, she'll rant about how I'm getting fat. I've been occupying myself with food. Australian food. Not bad for a try. I like the Pavlova and Lamington.
I'm currently at the bakery. Thought I'd drop by, I don't know. I just want to get out of the house.
"Anna!" I heard a voice call. The place is pretty crowded since it's Saturday.
I tilted my head and saw a smiling Calum
"Oh Hi Calum" I greet him. He's wearing his gray shirt with skinny jeans, I've been fond of seeing the boys, as I like to call them, in their singlets and skinnys. They said it's more comfortable, which I don't really get, because skinny jeans are damn tight.
"You're coming right?"
"Yeah, why?" I ask. I know he's asking me about the gig. They've been talking about it for days.
"Nothing, just asking." he smiles and sits across me. "How are you loving Sydney?" he asks. Here we are with casual and awkward talk. I feel like he's obliged to talk to me because I'm Ashton's sibling.
"It's nice"
"nice? just nice? Don't you mean spectacular" he teases.
"well, if spectacular you mean, Hot then yes" I answer and giggle
"Well, yeah. I am pretty hot" he brags.
"Psh conceited much?" I scoffed.
"No, that's not conceited. It's called confidence" he smiles.
We both ended up laughing. He was fun to be with. After that we never had any awkwardness.

"John Legend?"
"He's legendary. Get it? 'cause John Legend? Haha" that was me.
"Very funny" Calum deadpanned. "All Time Low?"
"Punk Rock"
"One Direction?"
"Baby you light up my world like nobody else!". I sang. And Calum backed away and ended laughing.
"Ed Sheeran?"
"Great musician"
"Nickel back?
"I don't know them" I say.
"You don't know Nickel back?"
"Nope"
"Psh they're like the coolest band ever" he says in a proud way.
We're currently at the park, he invited me for an ice cream since I was complaining about how hot it is. Of course a lot of people, mostly girls were staring at us. Some of them took photos with Calum, I kept teasing him, and said he was turning into a celebrity.
"how did you guys form a band?" I ask, for some reason I was very curious.
"well... it's a very long story" he says.
