*One week later*
💟Allison💟
A week had passed and I hadn't seen Beckett at all.
Thank The Lord.
As Tyler walked next to me and I pushed the trolley down the aisles, I realised that we needed eggs.
"Ty, I'm going to get eggs before I forget, can you get the rest of the things from this aisle?"
"Yeah sure."
"Thanks."
As I walked down the end of the aisle, lost in my thoughts, I rounded the corner and slammed into something hard. My glasses pushed against my face and my nose started to hurt. I looked up to see none other than Beckett.
There goes my thanks.
"Oh, nerd, it's you," he sneered.
Somehow, I found some confidence and rolled my eyes discreetly and walked past him.
"Nerd, I was talking to you." I heard footsteps then I saw Beckett step in front of me. Then the jerk did something that he only did with Allison, he got all up in my face and grabbed my collar.
"You will not ignore me," he spat. Before I could say or do anything, a voice stopped me.
"Hey! Leave my sister alone!" I heard Tyler say as he came up to us. I watched as Beckett looked at Tyler and smirked. He then looked back at me.
"Aww, the little nerd has to get her little brother to save her because she can't save herself, how pathetic."
"Al, you want me to call mu-"
I cut Tyler off with a growl.
"No Tyler, I don't need their help. I made that clear when I got the apartment."
"Oh, right, sorry."
I was about to say something when Beckett cut me off.
"Ha! Even your parents don't want you."
Beckett let go of my collar with a shove and stared at me.
"Watch it, geek."
As I watched Beckett walk away, my confidence boosted once more.
"I prefer 'nerd'!"
Beckett whirled around and glared at me.
"It'll be just a memory if you keep that up."
"Was that a death threat against my sister?" Tyler exclaimed.
"Yes, pipsqueak, it was."
Tyler turned to me.
"Does this guy do this at school?" Tyler asked, jabbing a thumb in Beckett's direction.
"Nah! Never! He just thought that he would pick on me today!" I exclaimed with sarcasm.
Tyler just rolled his eyes and went to grab the eggs.
What did I ever do to make Beckett hate me?
~*~
As I walked past my old house, I glanced up at it. Big mistake. I crashed into something. Luckily, I didn't have glasses on so my face was okay.
"Oh, Ally, hey!" It was none other than Beckett.
Dude, I saw you two hours ago and you tried to choke me, now you're sunshine and rainbows.
Well fine.
"Hello Beckett."
"How have you been since I last saw you?"
"Fine."
