Beckett

She said yes! I sighed in relief as Ally went to her room and I sat down on the couch. That's when Alex called.

"So how'd go?" He asked the second I picked up. I rolled my eyes.

"Hello Alexander, how are you? I'm fine thanks." I could just picture him rolling his eyes.

"Hello Beckett, I'm fine thanks. So how'd it go?" I rolled my eyes again.

"She said yes."

"That's great."

"I know right? And I-" I was cut off as I heard a short scream, "I'll call you back," I said as I ended the call and dropped my phone, running to Ally's room. I burst through the door, yelling.

"Ally? Ally are you oka-" I stopped myself as I took in the shocked look on Ally's face and the creepy grin on the mysterious guy's face that was sitting on her bed.

"How did you find me?"

"You can thank him for that," The guy said, nodding at me, "saw the pictures of you on the news about your apartment, found you moving in here a little while later. Ah, Ally. Ally, Ally, Ally. You should've known I would find you sooner or later. It was just a matter of when I would come to talk."

"Define 'talk'."

"Brr.. You've changed."

"What do you want, Brad?" Ally asked with a trembling voice.

"I just want to finish what we started," he said, trying to look innocent.

"Well, Brad, you obviously won't be finishing what you started, because I want you out of my house, and if I ever see you back here, I will call the police. Get out," I commanded, slightly surprising all of us.

"I'm sorry, who the hell are you?"

"I'm Ally's boyfriend, Beckett. Now if you don't mind, I want you out, because Ally and I are going shopping. The door's that way," I said, pointing out of the room. Brad growled but got up, glaring at me but then smiling sickly at Ally.

"This isn't over," it whispered. He kissed her cheek as he walked out of the room, I walked to where I could see him walk out, and the second he was gone, I ran back to where Ally stood, shell shocked.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"C'mon then."

"Where are we going?"

"Shopping, like I said, we're getting you a new dress to wear Friday."

"Why are you fussing so much?"

"Because I want you to be happy with the dress," I answered.

"Why? It's not like I'm going to look pr-"I cut her off as I threw two dresses at her.

"What am I meant to do with these?"

"Go try them on." I pushed her towards the dressing room and she finally stopped struggling and walked into the room. About five minutes later, she walked out, and I realised how wrong the dress looked.

"No," we said at the same time, and burst out laughing. This continued for the next twenty minutes, me throwing dresses at her and her trying them on, us both laughing at how bad they looked. We were having so much fun that we didn't care about the store clerk giving us funny looks. I chuckled to myself quietly as I thought about how Ally had strutted out of the dressing room wearing an absolutely hideous dress, and we both saw the clerk's face. She looked mortified, like she was ashamed her work even sold that dress. Just then, Ally walked out and I got ready to start laughing again, but then I saw her. This wasn't a dress I had chosen, this was Ally's choice.
