*BEFORE READING!*

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I've been busy getting ready for the end of the year at school, but now no school for six weeks, so I will be updating more, and if you were wondering, this story is about halfway through, so don't worry, more chapters are to come!

Also, I have never actually been a part of a court case, so I have no idea of what actually happens, so sorry if you guys spot anything wrong with it. With that been said, enjoy!

Allison's POV

It had been two weeks since the incident, and everyone was pretty shaken up still. We had gone back to the apartment to clean it up and buy new furniture and things that were wrecked, and we packed the rest of our bags.

"Hey Ally," Beckett said, coming to my bedroom door. We had wondered where we were going to go, and Beckett said we could live at his house. I was really worried at first, seeing as how Beckett originally came to our apartment because he couldn't live there alone, well then again now he wouldn't be alone... There was also the fact that I would be living right next to my parent's house, and-

"Oh. Shit..." I mumbled, as Beckett stared at me.

"What...?"

"The court case... about Tyler... oh fuck."

~*~*~*~*~

"Miss Parks, would you come to the stand to undergo questioning?" The judge asked me, a week later.

We had called my parents and agreed to pick a date for the court case to start, and had chosen today.

I sat down and awaited my questioning, knowing I had Beckett and Tyler and my friends to back me up.

"Miss Parks, please tell me, and the rest of the court, why you had left your parents and taken your younger brother with you?" The guy asked. I took a deep breath in and spoke.

"After going through years of criticism, verbal abuse, and many other things, I had not been able to live there anymore. My parents were out on a trip at the time, and on going to tell my brother, he begged and begged to come with me, giving his own reasons to come. After lots of protest, I finally caved and took him with me. Then one day, I received a letter from my parents stating, and I quote from the paper in front of me,

'Allison Parker. You have exactly seven days to return our son to us or we will call the police. You are none of our business anymore, you weren't the second you walked out the front door.

I don't know what crazy pacts you made with Tyler, but we want them all cut, as well as communication cut as well after you bring him home. You are insane, and quite frankly, you are worse than Catherine.

If we have to, we will fight you in court for the truth. That Tyler is ours, and he will always love us more, we are his parents. It wouldn't surprise me if you kidnapped him. You have the bitchy attitude to do it. I prefer Catherine over you.

Well really, anyone would. I mean, who would want you?

Now you listen here you little brat.
You are a no good, terrible little bitch, who deserves to rot in hell, sitting at Satan's feet, doing his work.

If you were gum on the bottom of my shoe, I wouldn't scrape it off. I'd throw the shoes out and start again.

And I'd do the same with your life.

Bring him back, and then you might still have a second chance at life, I mean, after all, you are dead. At least to us you are.

See you by next week, little child.

-Suzanne Kay Parker.'

"I didn't think much of it, because I thought, 'my parents would never do that to me?' But I was proved wrong, or I would not be sitting here today."

"Okay, thank you miss Parks, Suzanne Parker, please come to the stand to tell the court your story."

Twelve days, much yelling and a jury decision later, the verdict was delivered.

"Miss Parks, I'm sorry-" the judge was cut off as cackling filled the room, my mother's, "- that it took so long, but we have to come to a decision, and we have decided that you may take full responsibility of Tyler, you have won this court case!" and with that Tyler, Beckett, myself and everyone on my side jumped up with glee, and hugged one another.

We had won.

"And in addition, the court has made the decision to help you look after Tyler, and will be giving you $5000 to start, is that alright?"

"Yes! Thank you so much!" I replied.

"Case dismissed!"

We had won. We had actually done it.

I turned to look at Beckett. I looked into his stunning blue eyes, and I was captivated. How had I never realised how great his eyes looked?

We both grinned and he picked me up and hugged me, spinning us around. I pulled away.

"We did it!" I exclaimed.

"I know!" He laughed.

"I wouldn't have been able to do it without you."

"Yes you would have. You're a fantastic girl, a smart, talented, beautiful girl. And I had the privilege of meeting you. How much luckier could I get?"

"I could actually tell you the truth..." I mumbled under my breath. Just then, my mother came over to me, my father in tow.

"What have you done, child? You've ruined everything."

"You have Catherine."

"She's worthless."

"You're no better."

By now we had walked out of the building and were standing on the pavement. Pavement that my body came in contact with approximately 30 seconds later.

And no, it wasn't because I tripped.

--------------

Hi everyone! Sorry this took FOREVER to update, but as I said before, I was just finishing up the end of the year, but I will be updating more.

So, I need actors for only three more roles.

Tyler (12 years old)

Monique (also 12 years old)

Brad: (around Ally and Beckett's age, so around 17-19)

I only need a character for these three people, but I can't think of anyone perfect for the role that many people know, so please comment who you think is fit for the role!

The reason I need the actors for the characters is because I'm going to be noting some features about the characters, but I need to be able to know what they look like in order to describe them. Know what I mean? Sorry if you don't, so let me know if not.

Sorry for the short chapter, but I have had a bit of writers block lately, but I think I'm good now, now that I've got ideas. Thank you all for reading, and commenting, I love reading your comments, especially the ones that make me smile for the whole day, those are the best.

Also, OMG thank you all for over 4k! This is like a dream, having people read my book, so thank you all!

Until next time,

-Caitlin.
