Quinn sat on her makeshift throne, made out of an old chair decorated in chains and hearts.

She pondered her dream.

She was never one to dream anyway. This dream had been different it had sent her to Auradon. She had seen Maddie, she had seen what Auradon was like.

Now she wondered how Maddie had made herself be able to be seen. How was it possible when she couldn't?

Was it something Maddie had done? She had been having dreams like these for years. Maybe that was made hers different than Quinn's.

What Quinn had seen was strange. She'd never known Maddie was one to inflict self harm when things didn't go as planned. She felt bad for her. She didn't know that was what Maddie went through. Being called crazy wasn't a bad thing but in Auradon it was.

They weren't crazy. Their reality was just different than theirs.

As the bitch the White Queen had once said, you can't live your life to please others which was exactly what Maddie was doing.

She was hurting herself by trying to be what others considered normal instead of being herself.

Why did Quinn suddenly care about how Maddie felt? It seemed strange to her.

Maddie had betrayed her. Maddie had left her here. Maddie was the reason all of her plans didn't work. Maddie was a traitor.

She didn't need to care for her. Maddie didn't need any of her m sympathy. That was the price you paid falling in love. You were bound to get your heart broken.

It was better to be feared than to be loved. When you're feared, you know the people will never leave you because they were too afraid to. When you loved the person was bound to leave you eventually even when they said they wouldn't. Even if they said that they'd always be there. They'd leave you in the end.

It didn't matter what kind of love you had for the person, maybe they were your girlfriend or your boyfriend, maybe they were your sibling. Either way they'd leave you eventually. Something Sam herself had taught her.

What she learned from Sam...

Thinking about her blonde friend made her think of Maddie's unrequited love for her. When they were younger. Maddie liked Sam, like liked Sam.

Sam has been too focused on Harry to notice and Maddie had let it go, falling for the son of Cruella De Vil instead.

From her dream, Quinn knew that hadn't worked out. She wanted to laugh at the misfortune Maddie had brought upon herself.

Quinn lost track of time, delving into the thoughts that filled her mind. Chelsea and Helia entered her room while she was trying to rack up her thoughts and make sense of them.

"Hey Quinn." Helia said, snapping her fingers in her face. "You missed your tea time."

"I did?" Quinn said, craning her head to look at the clock. "Oh yes I have I suppose."

"What were you doing?" Chelsea asked as she sat on a stack of pillows, walking around in circles before setting herself into the perch of a cat.

"You're so catlike." Quinn said. "I was just thinking."

"What were you thinking about?" Chelsea asked. "It's always dangerous for you to delve into your mind."

"It is isn't it?" Quinn asked. "I don't know. It just seems I've been thinking. I don't know what for."

"I have a feeling you know something we don't." Helia said. "Would you care to share your thoughts or is that too much to ask of you, huh Quinn?"

Helia snapped her fingers in Quinn's face again, catching her attention, it caused the redheads curls to slap Helia across the face.

"Sorry Hel." Quinn said. "Didn't see you there."

"What are you doing?" Helia asked. "What are you thinking about? Because you obviously have something more important than us to think about."

"Everything is more important than you Helia." Quinn said. "What was I thinking about? Well you wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Can you just tell us what you were thinking about and stop spitting out riddles?" Helia asked, her hair slightly flaming up.

"Calm down Helia dearest." Quinn said. "Riddles are my thing."

"I'm calm." Helia said, her hair stopped flaming. "Now tell your story."

"Well I had a dream." Quinn said, pausing for dramatic effect.

"Yes?" Helia said. "About what?"

"I was in Auradon." Quinn said.

"Alright then." Helia said. "What did you see?"

"Are you not going to question why I'm dreaming about Auradon?" Quinn asked, tilting her head to the side.

"No." Chelsea said. "It doesn't seem as weird as your other dreams."

"I feel comforted that you listen to my other dreams." Quinn said. "And hurt that you think they're weird. I don't know where to go with you Chels."

"Hey lovebirds." Helia said. "Continue your story or I'm leaving."

"Where's Hanna?" Quinn asked. Almost as if she were waiting for the call, Hanna came through the door.

"There she is." Helia said. "Stop stalling."

"I'm pausing for dramatic effect." Quinn said.

"Well continue." Helia said. "Tell is about our dream in Auradon."

"I don't know." Quinn said. "It was like I was watching Maddie. I could hear her thoughts. I could see her. But she couldn't see me. She was really sad about her little dilemma."

"What was her little dilemma?" Hanna asked.

"Oh she had a little spat with her little boyfriend." Quinn stared glalty.

"Her little boyfriend?" Hanna asked. "You mean Carlos?"

"Yeah him." Quinn said. "Anyways I learned a lot about Maddie in the dream. That she cuts herself, that she thinks she's not enough, that people think being crazy is bad in Auradon."

"Where is this going?" Helia asked with a yawn. "You're boring me here. Tell me something I don't know."

"I heard a little thing at the end." Quinn said. "But both her and Maddie are on the Isle. They cracked under the pressure. And if my sources are right, they're at the Curl Up n' Dye with Sam right now."
