Maddie woke up, hitting her head on a shelf above her. She winced, rubbing her head.

"Hey Ace?" Maddie asked, timidly.

"Yes m'lady?" Ace asked, peering into the closet turned cell.

"What time is it?" Maddie asked, rubbing her head, a throbbing pain running through it.

"It's eleven o'clock." Ace said.

"It's eleven thirty." Spade said. "You're wring again Ace."

"Well excuse me." Ace said. "It looked like eleven to me."

"You're terrible at using clocks." Diamond said.

"Like you're any better." Ace quipped. "The only one of us who can read a watch is Spade."

"Lies." Club said. "I can too."

"Then what time is it?" Ace asked.

"Eleven thirty." Club said.

"It was eleven thirty five minutes ago." Spade said.

"You just copied him." Ace said. "You don't know how to read a clock. Just admit it."

"I do know how," Club huffed.

"Okaaay." Ace said. "No need to get angry."

Maddie couldn't believe she'd been asleep that long. She'd never slept for that long before but she'd gone to sleep late so that had to be the reason. She was so close to being released, yet so far.

Her heart still felt kind of confused on how she was supposed to feel about Carlos. She wanted him but at the same time she wanted him as far away from her as possible.

She didn't like feeling so confused. She didn't like how Carlos made her feel. She didn't like that he still made butterflies flutter in her stomach when he walked into the room. She didn't want to forgive him, but at the same time she did.

God she hated this feeling.

"Hiya Maddie!" Chelsea beamed, her smile appearing in the air.

Maddie placed a hand over her heart, backing into the shelf that hung above her head.

"Ouch." Maddie grunted, rubbing at her sore head.

"Sorry Maddie." Chelsea said, appearing fully. "I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay." Maddie said. "I just didn't know you could do that."

"Oh yeah." Chelsea said. "I forgot. We'll rise and shine sleeping Beauty."

"Oh shut it Kitty Cat." Maddie said.

"That's the best insult you could think for me?" Chelsea asked.

"It's not meant to be an insult." Maddie said. "But if you took it that way. Well that's too bad."

"You are such a nice person." Chelsea said, rolling her eyes.

"I am. Thank you." Maddie said.

"You seem in a perky mood." Chelsea said. "Or maybe I'm reading your emotions wrong."

"You are." Maddie said. "I am far from perky. I didn't know how I feel right now. It's just... eh."

"I understand." Chelsea said. "I would too if I were put in the situation you were in. Which I hope I'm not. Quinn's been my girlfriend for like a week. So how do you feel about Puppy Boy?"

"Quinn's your girlfriend?" Maddie asked, raising her eyebrow.

"Oh you didn't know that?" Chelsea said. "Or maybe she didn't want me to tell you. I can't remember. But yeah she is. Not many people know. We started dating after she broke up with Harry-." Maddie frowned. "I thought Harry was Sam's boyfriend?"

Chelsea shook her head.

"I mean yeah when the VKs left." Chelsea said. "Then when Gigi came here, remember to chat with her mom? That was funny. They broke up then for reasons I'm not aloud to speak of because only me and Gigi and CJ and Freddie and Zevon actually knew why."

"Okay." Maddie said. "Continue."

"Then they started dating again and broke up two weeks ago." Chelsea said. "I don't know if they're together again."

"How's Quinn part of that problem?" Maddie asked.

"Oh Sam found them together." Chelsea said. "And I mean she knew she was pregnant then but she didn't want to tell him because of that. They got into a big argument and Quinn and Sam tried to kill each other whenever he wasn't there. They ended their feud a few days ago."

"That's really confusing." Maddie said. "Don't repeat it."

"I don't even know what I said." Chelsea said. "Sam and Harry are confusing. So anyway... this was supposed to be about you. Why are you taking me off topic?"

"Because it's so easy to." Maddie said, with a shrug.

"So how do you feel about Puppy Boy?" Chelsea asked again.

"I don't know to be honest." Maddie said. "I don't want to see him again but at the same time I do? I love him and I hate him? I want him to stay as far away from me but at the same time I want him next to me? I don't Chelsea. It's really confusing."

"Yes it does sound really confusing." Chelsea said. "I wish I could be of help to you. But I don't know what I could do for you. You have to figure this out on your own for yourself. Nobody can fix it but you. You have to give it time and let yourself think about whether or not you want to be with him. Give him a week and then see how you feel."

"You really good at giving advice." Maddie said. "Thanks Chelsea."

"Can you please tell that to everyone else?" Chelsea asked. "Nobody takes my help seriously."

"I'll try." Maddie said with a shrug.

"Great." Chelsea said, clasping her hands together.

"What time is it Club?" Ace asked. "What time is it huh?"

"Oh my goblins you have taken such a simple question and turned it into an argument." Chelsea said. "You guys need some help. Would you like my advice?"

The four guards looked at each other before shaking their heads.

"No." Ace said. "We're good."

"See Maddie." Chelsea said. "Nobody takes my help and advice seriously. I do wonder why."

"You told Gil he could swim through the barrier." Spade said.

"That poor child." Diamond said. "He actually took your word for it. It didn't work well. You see he doesn't know how to swim."

"I know." Chelsea said. "That was a joke. I thought he wouldn't take it seriously."

"That boy is denser than a pound of bricks." Club said. "He wouldn't have thought much of it."

"I suppose." Chelsea said. "Spade what time is it?"

"Oh so you can't ask us huh?" Ace huffed as Diamond and Spade nodded their heads.

"No." Chelsea said. "You guys don't know how to read it. And before you start arguing about it, you know it's true."

"It's eleven fifty now." Spade said.

"Okay." Chelsea said. "Come on Maddie lets get going."
