Quinn was blinked as the hype were consumed by the colored smoke bomb that the son of Cruella De Vil had shot into the air, his arm wrapped protectively over Maddie, though the brunette didn't seem happy about it.

Quinn walked forward once the smoke cleared, hearing the clashes of swords all around her. Uma and Mal fought vigorously, each trying to best the other. She heard a splash as Mal had pushed a pirate into the water.

Jay and Harry fought near the edge of the boat.Heather and the Auradon girl, Lonnie. Carlos and HJ. Gigi and Gil. Ben and Helia. Hanna against Chelsea? Quinn wasn't sure why the daughter of Hans was helping the VKs, it didn't make sense. She was sure she'd been on their side in the morning.

Sam and Evie chatted instead of fighting, making a theatrical show of sword fighting. Quinn charged at Maddie though her mind didn't agree with her.

She didn't know what she was supposed to feel toward Maddie. Was she to hate her or to love her? Was she to let her go back to Auradon unscathed? Would she let herself get tricked again?

How had she fallen for Maddie's lies so many times? There had to be a way to know when she was sincere. Maddie truly was a villain even if she'd never own up to it. Maddie had caused her problems, many she had no idea how to deal with.

Could she let her get away again or was she to let her run back to Auradon and figure out a new plan? Her plans didn't seem to work anyway so there was no point. There had to be another way.

"Hey Maddie." Quinn said as her sword clanked against hers.

"Hey," Maddie grunted, taking a step back and blocking Quinn.

"Nice to see your not tied up anymore huh?" Quinn asked, slashing at Maddie who blocked once more. "You're a lot better than I thought you'd be."

"Thanks." Maddie said as she slashed at Quinn who blocked her.

"I'd be sad if I had to cut off your head." Quinn said with a shrug.

"Then don't." Maddie said, knocking Quinn's sword out of her hand and taking it in her own, knocking Quinn off her feet in the process.

Quinn chuckled as both swords were pinned at either side of her head.

"Well you win." Quinn said, clapping her hands slowly. "Hurray for you."

The sarcasm dropped out of her statement, it wasn't hard to see it. Maddie shrugged taking both swords in one of her hands, before helping Quinn up.

She tossed the sword back at her as they continued to stab at each other.

There's was a sudden splash as someone had jumped into the water. Quinn looked over seeing red as Harry dived into the water after his hook that Jay had dropped. Sometimes it seemed like he cared more about that thing than his life.

"I'll be back." Quinn heard Sam tell Evie. "I'm gonna save an idiot."

Jay chuckled as she walked past. Sam turned around and punching him on the shoulder. He winced, sticking his tongue out at her, which she returned.

Sam peered over the railing, waiting for him to resurface. She saw his head pop up again, as he swam back to the boat. She offered him her hand, he took it, pulling himself up.

He tried pulling her into a hug, but she backed away.

"Don't touch me." Sam said. "You're soaking wet. You'll ruin my outfit."

Harry ignored her, draping his arms over her shoulders, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"Hey lovebirds!" Uma called. "Can you two get back to fighting?"

Quinn laughed, turning her focus back to Maddie who had somehow taken her moment of distraction as a moment to get away.

It was fight or flight. It seemed Maddie was capable of both.

She grumbled to herself chasing after Maddie.

"Hey!" Quinn said, slashing at Maddie who blocked. "Where do you think you're going sweetie? The battle isn't over until I said it is."

Chelsea appeared out of thin air, her battle with Hanna had been discarded after Hanna managed to reach the tunnel and escape.

"Hanna's really confusing." Chelsea said as Maddie huffed, raising her hand as a signal for them to take a break.

"How so?" Maddie asked, flipping hair away from her face.

"Oh you know turning on us once her little ex-boyfriend asked her to." Chelsea said with a wave of her hand. "That sort of way."

"She left because of Jay?" Quinn asked. "As in the guy who left her for Auradon. Cheated on her multiple times. Dates more than one girl at a time. That Jay?"

"She's convinces he's changed." Chelsea said. "Auradon has changed him for the better. Maybe she can too."

"Hanna was never a bad person." Quinn said. "She was a decent friend. But she didn't have to leave us here for a boy! That's got to be some sort of broken friendship code."

Helia s hair set on fire as Harry stoke her opponent.

"Calm down Helia." Harry said as Ben blocked him.

"Coochy Coochy Coo." Ben said as he was called away by Mal.

Another smoke bomb was shot into the air as Mal began ushering her team away. She ordered Jay and Lonnie to start the car. Only she, Maddie and Evie remained.

"Maddie come on." Carlos said, appearing out of the tunnel as Maddie waved to Quinn backing away into the tunnel.

"There she goes." Quinn said.as she heard Uma storm back to the Shoppe, the disappointed pirates following behind her.

"Did Hanna just leave us?" Heather asked, as HJ patted her shoulder, steering her in the direction of the Chip Shoppe as she teared up.

"New plan." Quinn told Chelsea.

"To not follow Uma's anymore?"

"Well yeah." Quinn said. "But also not to have one. They never work anyway."

Chelsea and Quinn walked hand in hand toward the Chip Shoppe, hearing Sam's boots crunch behind them.
