Chapter 1: Wedding Day

Wedding bells and confetti filled the atmosphere, smiles and laughter and happiness were the tone set by the new Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. He put her in the passenger seat and closed the door before he took his seat and drove off to the reception. Just married read the marked up back windshield. A new life for them both starts today. John Johnson Groom of the bride Martha Johnson welcomes everyone followed by speeches and toasts. Family members clapping cheering getting to know each other, some a little too much but what can we do people will always be people.

The part the people couldn't wait for had at last started. The ushers flocked in quickly and responsively serving beverages and plates of well seasoned, delectable food. Everyone was finally filled. The music was a nice mixture thanks to the DJ of the family. It was time to throw the bouquet. All the single ladies lined up anxious to know who is the next bride to be. Up in the air spiraling, flipping and flying as hands stretched up, forward and in between to catch the bouquet. Nicky finally caught it and jumped as she flashed a smile to the bride.

Now the tables are cleared and removed from the hall and the area was transformed into a dancehall. All the older folks danced to songs of their time while the younger ones tried desperately to follow. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were having a blast. Why not? It's their day after all. Everything was perfect just the way Mrs. Johnson liked it.

It now came time to depart from family and friends to Mr. and Mrs. Johnson's home in the countryside. A new life together means a new beginning. Mr n Mrs. Johnson are city folk but Mr. Johnson had countryside experience from his younger years of camping with dad. Mrs. Johnson wasn't too keen on the change but she gave it a try anyway, after all, they had transportation and her husband would be close to home.
