Finally the system had booted up. The controls were now labeled and Martha wasted no more time in initiating the sterilizing process [as they called it]. On screen there had been confirmation of all the habitats being sanitized followed by the notification that the population was zero in all habitats. Martha still wasn't satisfied, she hadn't blown up the laboratory and she didn't even get to see the death of those things, plus there was still the case of her so called husband running around somewhere on the first floor, hopefully.

Martha sighed in relief, Jen then came up to her explaining that she as well had to get answers about her parents and she strongly felt that they were being held in this facility. She continued by telling Martha that she saw a camera feed on a computer screen showing two people being held on floor one hundred. Martha upon completing part one of her vengeance streak agreed to help Jen find her parents, or at least the clues to where they were.

Cautiously they exited the room and entered the corridor. The exit door had been knocked down by the creature so they could now see through to the other side. Another elevator door could be seen but this one leads two floors down. They had to backtrack two floors then continue to floor one hundred. They had no choice since the elevator door they used to reach the current floor was stuck.

Floor five hundred and two, this floor seemed untouched. Clear glass screens on both sides formed a corridor with the elevator door dead ahead. Cautiously they traversed as they couldn't afford to be caught off guard in here since there was no hiding spots. Upon entering the elevator there was a loud crash and a Jaguar looking specimen fell out the ceiling, luckily the door had closed in time so the creature didn't see them.

Jen grew impatient and annoyed, she wanted answers and she wanted them now but this elevator wasn't moving as fast as she would like. She folded her arms, tapping her feet and humming to calm herself. Martha saw how impatient and worried Jen looked so she went over to embrace her and assure her that any clue that was left would be followed swiftly until she found the answers she seeked. The elevator opened, floor one hundred was the number by the elevator controls. Jen hopped off anxiously while Martha followed. This floor was different. Instead of corridors of doors or glass, this one was a whole room of cabinets and cupboards full of files and folders.

"We would take forever to search this room" Jen said even more frustrated than before.

Martha sighed,

"no we won't, look closely, the room is categorized by letters so we actually have to look for J!,"she said.

But Jen knew all to well if they hadn't found anything in J then they would have to look in A, after all her name was specified with Authermus. They began to look at the J files in the room looking for Jennifer. Martha looked while Jen wandered the room searching for any leads. Martha found the folder named Jennifer but before she sounded the alarm to her, she had to browse a bit. Inside were pictures of Jennifer's birth with the description of her abnormalities, strengths, origin and so on. The most interesting thing about this document was her origin. Authermus was her parent or in scientific terms, her host and she was the accidental specimen that was brought into this world.

It further goes on to say that upon capture she was also brainwashed to the point that sometimes when she sees Authermus, she hallucinates and sees humans which she is made to believe is actually her parents. Martha was all too shocked at her discovery, this specimen was actually connected to her by DNA. Her grand daughter if put into layman's terms. She walked up to Jen who hadn't found anything but had been sitting on the floor looking disappointed. Tears in her eyes, she handed Jen the folder, dropped to her knees then proceeded to tightly embrace her.

Jen was confused.

"What did Martha find?," Jen asked herself.

"I wish I knew sooner, I'm so sorry for ignoring it!," Martha explained.

"what are you talking about?," Martha asked.

"just read this file!," Martha said.

Upon opening the folder and reading, she saw the pictures and read the description of herself.

She really was a specimen derived from Authermus' body. That's why it saved her life and why she couldn't find her parents after she clearly saw them heading up the mountain.

Jen was with her Alpha host all along. The original, the first subject in her chain. Jen too started to shed tears after her read through. As she embeaced Martha she understood everything now. The connection between the four of them, John, Jen, Martha and Authermus was just one giant, scientific mess of a cover up. The main person responsible for all of this controversy was none other than Michael F Johnson, John's father.

They had to find John so he could help them track down his father. Martha as much as she hated the idea, just had to forgive John, [at least for the time being]. They dried their tears and pulled themselves together before proceeding. They entered the elevator  punching the numbers 1,0,0, the door automatically closed and they were on their way to find John on floor one hundred. They honestly didn't have a clue about what they would find or encounter up there but whatever this place throws at them just had to be dealt with accordingly.

As the elevator raised, their heart rate increased, due to the rush of adrenaline, their saliva thickened, causing a more intense process swallowong and their mission was more meaningful than ever now. Michael F Johnson had to pay for his tretory and deceptive, evil ways in more ways than one, and they just had to find John to initiate a plan into action.
