Jeongin held his breath.
Chan was at it again, flirting with some girl he randomly saw.
He was fucking over it. But then again, he never told the older boy that. He never planned to either.
That was the thing, he was in love with his straight best friend, Chan.
He crossed his arms as he stared at the two in front of him. This time it was a long haired blonde with perfect makeup and a crop top. Gorgeous. Jeongin you could say was, for a lack of a better word, jealous.
Jeongin wanted to look like her; pretty. He was normal, average, decent. He wanted to look like the girl did, eye catching. He wanted chan's attention. That's all he ever wanted, but he'd never have it.
The girl batted her eyelashes, her really long, pretty eyelashes. And as easy as that, Chan was handing over his phone number to his next one night stand.
Jeongin watched her strut away confidently. He wanted that.
"Innie? Hello?" Chan waved his hand in front of the younger boy, trying to catch his attention, and when he caught it, he could have sworn something was off.
Jeongin's lip was quivering slightly, and he looked longingly at the girl. Chan quickly wondered if Jeongin wanted her number. He didn't want to steal the boy's thunder.
"Did you want her number or something? I can give it to you if you want, you looked pretty into her." He said, tossing a fry into his mouth nonchalantly and Jeongin inwardly panicked.
"No, I just...need to get going. I promised Sungie that we'd work on our biology project today." Jeongin quickly said as he looked down at his basket of untouched food. He lost his appetite around 4 minutes in of the flirting.
Chan nodded his head knowingly, before bidding Jeongin goodbye and watching him leave the diner in a hurry. But after a moment of thinking, he realized Jeongin didn't have biology with Jisung.
This story isn't really going the way I want it to, but I hope I don't completely butcher the concept!!!
