Chapter 8

The whole team went to check on Harry while I went to the common room then my dorm showers and took a shower. I put on a spaghetti strap tank top with a pair of sweatpants and flats and my shoulder and arm was throbbing. I still didn't say anything on my walk to the hospital wing but I did get stalled.

"Nice try if Potter hadn't been knocked off by the dementors you would have won." It was Draco

"So you did go." I said with a smirk

"Yea you were awesome. I saw you hit into the shoulder by a bludger was that the same shoulder the hippogriff hit?" he asked

"Yup." I said

"I take it you already went to pomfrey?" he said

"Yea" I lied. "I was just going to check on Harry to make sure he is alright."

"Alright" he said then he put his hand on my shoulder and I winced slightly "Did you really go to pomfrey?"

"No." I said

"Dammit, Cleo that was a stupid move you should be getting that looked at." He said "Why did you lie?"

"It doesn't hurt and why do you even care?" I said walking away from him

"I don't know," he said, pulling my good arm and dragging me into an empty alcove. "I don't know why I care alright I just do."

"Draco I'm sorry. You shouldn't care I'm a Gryffindor half blood" I said

"And for some reason with everyone else I can't stand them for a simple blood status but I care about you" he said to me

"Why you shouldn't? You should be dating a pureblood Slytherin not caring about me" I said "If you haven't noticed I can take care of myself"

"Yea I have but I am also noticing that you are severely hurt and you are doing nothing to help yourself" he said to me

"And I'm fine with pain." I said loudly

"Obviously but what I have seen from your pain is the only way you feel." He said

"What is that supposed to mean?" I said

"It means that I try and care but you just push me away like you don't care like you don't feel anything." He said and moved even closer to me "Like you feel nothing when I'm with you."

"I don't open up and I don't have to, I want to open up to you because for some reason I care" he said

"But Draco that would never work you and me," I said

"How do you know you won't even try I am thirteen and I feel something for you that I can't explain" he said

"Draco-" I was cut off when his lips crashed down on mine as he kissed me. I felt this jolt of electricity go through my body. He broke away as quickly as he'd started and he leaned down to me and put his forehead to mine.

"Now will you go get that shoulder checked?" he said

"Yea will you go with me?" I said

"Yea but what will your friends think?" he asked

"I don't know but right now I don't care" I said and he wrapped his arm around my waist and walked with me to the hospital wing when we entered my sister and all the Gryffindors in there stared at us as if questioning my judgment and they definitely had the right to.

"What's wrong dear?" pomfrey asked

"I was hit with a bludger at quidditch." I said

"Alright I can fix that up quick now lie down over there near potter" she said
