~ARAGORN'S POINT OF VIEW~

Alex screamed in pain, and I ran for her.

"Alex!" I yelled, and reached for her. I was expecting to catch her, but she was gone. Like magic. She wasn't even there. The only thing that was left of her was her locket. I looked around, just to see if she was there. I fell to my knees, and yelled. I punched the ground, as the remaining orcs ran past me. Tears left the corners of my eyes, and slid down my blood covered face, leaving wet trails. A hand clapped my shoulder, and I stood up. She was gone for good. I remembered her mother telling me that she and Alex would be released to go back to wherever they came from; once all evil was cleared from Middle Earth.

Legolas looked at me, saddened for my loss. We have all gotten to know Alex very well, particularly me. Pippin and Merry were crying on the ground, and Gimli seemed angry. Gandalf stood staring at Mount Doom, where lava was rushing down the sides. Èomer was staring at the ground. In the distance, i saw a horse galloping towards us. As it came closer, I saw that it was Arroch. Arroch seemed to look around at the dead bodies, looking for Alex.

"She's gone, Arroch. She's gone," I said, and my voice broke. I reached out for the horse, and I felt like my heart was ripped in two.

~ALEX'S POINT OF VIEW~

No! It can't be! No! I can't be at home! Maybe I was knocked out and this is a dream.. My hands had scrapes, and my face was covered in blood. I felt tears brim in my eyes. I kicked a rock with my boots, and yelled. A police car was parked in front of my house. I looked down at what I was wearing. I was still in the armor of Gondor. A gust of wind blew towards me, and my red cloak waved in the wind. I walked towards my house. My helmet glinted in the sun, and my leg hurt a little because I had ripped the scab. My chain-mail jingled as I walked past the police cars. Two police officers were talking to a man, who looked distressed. They heard my sword hitting my chain-mail and turned. I reached for my locket for support, and remembered Aragorn had it. Aragorn! My eyes filled up with tears, and I unsheathed my sword, and dug into the dirt pathway. I sobbed, and let the tears fall onto the ground. My bow dug into my calf, but I didn't care. An officer came up to me, and made me stand up.

"Who are you? Put your weapons down," the mustached man said. I looked up, and glared at him. My tears rolled down my face, and I took off my helmet. The three men observed my armor, and noticed my wounds, and blood covered armor.

"Alex?" Dad asked. I nodded stiffly.

"Is that blood? On your face?" An officer asked me.

I nodded again, and held my sword close.

"I'm going to have to take your weapons, miss," the mustached officer said with a country drawl. I looked at his name-tag. It said: CHARLIE STUNSTAL

"No. I've been through some tough shit the past months. You will not take my weapons, Charlie," I said, and drawled out his name slowly.

Charlie's face hardened, and he stepped towards me, "Miss, please."

Out of defense, I whipped my bow out in front of me. I loaded it with one of my few arrows I had left. Charlie stepped back, and put his hands on his taser.

Dad stepped in front of Charlie, "No! Officer, you will not electrocute my daughter!"

I had a rock hard glare on my face. I had forgotten about the advanced weapons back at home. Dad turned to me, and pleaded softly, "Alex, please! I've missed you, and I have no idea where you have been! Just give up your weapons."

I glared at my dad so hard, I seemed to shoot daggers out of my eyes. "No! These past months I have been gone, I saw mom! She gave me these daggers! Aragorn gave me this sword! Lord Elrond gave me this bow. I.. I fell in love, and I made friends! I met Gandalf and Pippin and Merry! Frodo and Sam, Legolas and Gimli! And Aragorn! If you take these away from me, I.. I don't know! They are all I have left of them!"
