Beyond the Walls - Chapter 13

LIZ'S/YOUR P.O.V.

The Survey Corps is currently out on yet another expedition into Wall Maria, though this time it is not the goal of getting into Eren's basement in Shiganshina District, it is to hopefully find my other nephew, Zeke. My only hope is that he is not outside of Wall Maria... and if he is, he could be in Marley for all I know.

I have been places behind Commander Erwin during this expedition, until it is my time to lead the way. 

After the invasion of Wall Maria, I ended up taking home there for some time, and Zeke... Well, he knows this and so we our checking my old base first. 

So far, we have gone through Wall Maria without running into any titans. I hear a crash in the distance. Shit. I spoke too soon. We have gotten pretty far, about 3 hours in and about an hour away from my old base. Some soldiers take care of the two titans and then head back to their positions. 

We soon are arriving at the base when we hear loud thumps behind us. I look behind as we are still riding full speed on the horses. Of course, it's Zeke in his titan form. I stand on my horse and turn around, watching Zeke about to strike my frightened comrades. 

A loud and bright flash can be seen as I jump over my fellow peers and transform into my 35 meter, titan form. My hair bounced behind be as the I gave the Survey Corps time to prepare for battle. Zeke roared and many covered their ears. But my screech was louder and more powerful, it shook the earth around us. Zeke through the first punch, I grabbed his hand and pushed him about 20 meters away. He just got back up and charged again. And again. Again. And yet, again. He's playing some stupid game with me, trying to wear me out, even though I haven't even hurt him yet. What an idiot. 

I stand in my fighting position and side kick his legs so he collapses to the ground, but before I know it, he grabs my feet and I also fall. He stands up and drags me around, throwing me around and banging me against the earth like a rag doll. The soldiers are throwing cannons and and using their 3DMG gear to cut him. But right now, he is too fast for them to get a hit. I just lay their and let him do this to me, of course I can fight him and easily get out of this situation, but I am going to use his own technique against him. 

Eren looks at Mikasa and Armin as they place another bomb in the cannon, "Why the hell isn't she doing anything?" 

Mikasa just shrugs, but Armin being the smartass he is gives a very.... correct answer, "She is using his own technique against him, which is tiring himself out. If you look at Liz, no steam is being emitted off of her, which means she is not being hurt... at least for right now. We just need to keep this up and we may be able to defeat him... whoever this guy is. All we know is that he is one of Liz's old enemies, but I bet there is more relation there than we know and the higher ups are keeping something from us... more like Liz doesn't want us to know." Armin concluded his answer but them mumbled to himself so no one could hear, "Like she is trying to protect someone..." 

THIRD P.O.V.

Liz all of a sudden kicks Zeke in the stomach and he goes flying. Then him and Liz start to run at one another. Zeke tries to kick her but she dodges and punches him in the face. He falls on his back and Liz straddles him and screeches in his face. He reaches to cover his ears but Liz pins them above his head and continues to screech. At this point, Levi's, Erwin's, and Hange's squad all come and watch, but keep distance since Liz has him down. She repeatedly punches his face and as she does this a crater forms around her, each punch the crater gets bigger. Soon enough all anyone could see was steam, from Zeke. He may have been punched repeatedly but that was not enough to get him down. 

Zeke emerges from the steam while holding Liz over his head and he throws her, she lands on her feet and comes charging. The Survey Corps starts attacking and doing everything they can to help Liz, until she runs so fast not even Zeke can keep up. And by the time she was finished, all they could see was steam. 

As it started to clear, they could clearly see Zeke's titan body on the ground. And above him, Liz was hovering, holding his neck that clearly has a big rip in it and in her mouth was Zeke. She got up and spit the man into his hand, "You disgust me, boy." 

"Awe, c'mom Aunt Liz, you know that was a good fight. Though you defeated me, once again." He smirked. 

"And the next time...." She was literally steaming with anger, "And the next time, I'LL EAT YOU!" Liz screeched. 

The soldiers that were not killed, backed away from the seen, not daring to anger Liz anymore, seeing as she was ready to eat and hungry for man. She threw Zeke onto the ground and shifted into a human. Levi quickly gave her some clothes that they prepared before hand. For the first time in almost 70 years Liz revealed her human form to Zeke. 

"Look at you dear Aunt, a fine specimen you are." Zeke pushes up his glasses. 

Liz ran up at the speed of lightning and put her arms around his neck, pinned him to the ground and started choking him. 

Her hair went red, and so did her eyes. This is what Zeke wanted, and he knew exactly how to do it. He was struggling on the ground as Liz was choking him and screaming in his face. Eren, Mikasa, Levi, and Hange ran over and separated Liz and Zeke, seeing as the Survey Corps wanted him alive, but Liz had other plans, "YOU DID THIS TO MY DAUGHTER! HOW DARE YOU?! I'LL KILL YOU AND EAT YOU... and enjoy it." Liz smirked and charged at Zeke again, only to get stopped by Levi. 

"Tch, calm down, brat." He shoved Liz to the ground and he features went back to normal. Eren and Levi were holding Liz back while Hange and Mikasa were holding Zeke. 

Zeke smirked again, "Oh Aunt Liz... Is that how you treat your dear nephew?" 

All went silent to the point where you could here a pin drop, but this time more like a body. 

Eren had pinned Liz to the ground. Levi had been pushed out of the way, and as much as Mikasa and Hange wanted to help, they had to hold Zeke. 

"YOU... YOU LIED TO ME AGAIN! HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP LYING TO ME?" Eren screamed is Liz's face and she just started blankly at him. "WHAT? YOU GOT NOTHING TO SAY? I BET YOU HAVE BEEN LYING TO US ALL ALONG? HOW MANY MORE LIES ARE YOU KEEPING FROM ME? WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?" Eren was hysterical, his eyes were streaming with tears. 

Liz gently pushed him off and turned her back to him, so she was facing Zeke, "I have many more lies, Eren. I'll lie to you as long as I can, to keep you safe." 

Liz walked to Zeke and knocked him out. She morphed into her titan form and carried Zeke away.  She just walked away because what else was there left for her to say?
