Chawal ki Kheer/ Rice Pudding

(Serves 4-5 people)


Ingredients:

Rice- 3/4th ladle

Milk- 1 litre

Sugar

Dry fruits- Almond and raisins


How to make Kheer?

Take 3/4th ladle of rice and soak them in water for 15-20 minutes.

In a container, boil the milk once.

After that, add rice to the milk and lower the flame. Let it cook on low flame for about an hour. Do not forget that you need to keep stirring the kheer time and again so that it doesn't start burning. When it starts thickening, stir continuously.

When you can see that rice have softened up completely and the milk has thickened, add sugar to it. Do remember that more you allow your kheer to cook on low flame, the more tastier it becomes. But don't cook too much.. Otherwise it will burn. 😂

Add dry fruits and serve the dish.
