Ingredients:
Saamak chawal: 1 bowl
Water: 5-6 bowls
Oil
Potatoes: 2 small sized
Cumin seeds (Jeera) : 1 spoon
Salt: 3/4th-1 spoon
Chilly powder: 1/4th spoonWash the saamak chawal and let it remain soaked in water for sometime.
In a pressure cooker, add some oil and then jeera. Add thinly sliced potatoes to it. Cover the lid and let them cook for sometime.
After that, add salt and chilly powder.
Add saamak chawal and 5-6 times water.
Give it 2 whistles and the rice are ready
