I walk over to Adam and Bree who are standing at Adam's locker, Oh check out what I've done to my locker, Adam opens his locker there's a lot of crap inside and it smells like the back of a dumpster truck.

Tada! Here's where I keep my books, down here I keep random strands of hair I've collected to make fake moustaches, oh my god ewww, and here is where I stock pile old lunches or as I like to call it- my tum tum yum yums, wow just again ewwww.

I turn around and see Leo walking up to us with with a piece of paper in his hands, Bree greets her brother, Hey Leo, what's that. My progress report I can't believe my science teacher says I'm always late to class, but you are always late to class, huh for once Adam is right, I know that but I don't need it publicised.

How did you do Cassie? Ehh average I got an A in music though. You always excel in music.

Suddenly Chase runs over to us I hide my smile that I know has grown very big, look at this, an A minus I knew my Home Ec teacher had it out for me, always criticising my muffins, haha I beat you I got a D plus, plus because I'm better, Adam is just.....just wow,

Adam the plus is....you know what it's just not even worth it anymore Bree said. D is not a good grade but we don't really expect you to get good grades, I'm engineered to be the smartest person on the planet and I just got an A minus I've been relegated to the huddled unwashed masses of minuses....like you!!

Chase! I got an A in music thank you very much, he rolls his eyes at me, Chase I know this must be hard for you but I mean look at the bright side, seeing you fall flat on your face is really fun for us Bree said.

I sit down next to Chase, I've got to find a way to reclaim my superiority, oh no disaster awaits. Well you could sign up for the student of the semester competition Leo suggests, what's that!

Every semester kids compete to see who can best improve the school, whoever gets the most school votes wins free pencils, a bumper sticker and a cheesy picture of himself on the wall Leo explains and that cheesy picture will show everyone that my brilliance reigns supreme I am so going to win Chase jumps up and down.

Oh! I call you free pencils, No wait I want the cheesy picture, oh gosh they both sound so good, wow Mr Davenport really should of given Adam more brain cells.

The bell rings the two Davenport brothers looking at each other they both yell " race ya " and they run off I turn to Bree and Leo. I should go guys I've got music, ooh you have that class with Chase, I shake my head at Bree her and Tasha have been getting at me for the past month about my crush on Chase apparently I need to do something about it....

Later on that day

I'm at the bottom of the staircase waiting for the Davenports and Leo Chase walks down the stairs towards me and hands me a card.

CHASE THE DREAM! I ask him yep! Adam, Bree and Leo join us, what do you think?, What do I think or what's appropriate to say to your face Leo asked Chase the dream? Bree asks please don't give these to anyone I might want to become friends with, too late I say to Bree she groans.

Chase walks over to the front door, I've got a whole plan check it out, I even linked the latest facial recognition software to the school database to create a laser automated attendance system, an alarm goes off.

Andrew Lamb from my maths class walks through Chase's voice comes over a PA system saying that he's been late three times in a row, straight to the Principals office Andy Chase says he'll thank me later for putting him on the right path.
