pretty girl

I'm heading home from grocery shopping and I see this really pretty girl standing outside our front door.

"Hi, can I help you?" I ask politely.
"Um, yeah. I'm new to the neighbourhood. I just moved here. Do you know where apartment 420b is?"
"Oh, you must be our new neighbour. I live right next to you. Follow me."

I show her the route to take in the apartment complex to get home. Ethan and Grayson are standing outside the door, waiting for me, I think.

"Ethan, Grayson, this is our new neighbour."

I pause for a bit, but she gets the message.

"Oh, I'm Ariana"
"It was nice meeting you, Ariana" Ethan says.
"Yeah, my name is Billie, by the way. We'll see you around, then. Or do you need help moving in?"
"Actually, that would be great." she says.

Not the answer I was hoping for.
