Courtney's POV- minutes after shooting two truths and a lie.

So that was a doozy. I don't know another way to describe that. I thought the others had an inkling about me being bi, but I guess not. I know Olivia knew, she was playing it up. I already told her.
Y/N though, being gay. That was a slight shock, I didn't expect that to be true. Not that it couldn't have been, its just, I wouldn't trust that information with people I met a week ago, but then again, why should loving someone of the same gender be a huge deal?
I looked at Y/N across the table, then the squad. I was about to speak when Shayne spoke up instead.
"Courtney?" I looked at him, "are you actually bisexual?"
I looked around.
"Well there's nothing wrong with that," Olivia spoke up, she then looked at Y/N, "same goes for being gay".
"You're right, there's nothing wrong with that, I was just surprised, we've known you for so long," Shayne said.
"Yeah well," I looked around, "I just never thought it would be important to know".
"Yeah," Y/N thought out loud. We looked at her as did the crew, she became embarrassed quickly, stuttering over her words occasionally, it was kinda cute.
"I mean... y-yeah, right? I, uhhh, I'm gay, but I don't think that effects who you are as a human. I think it makes you... "you" in a sense, I don't think Shayne was asking in an offensive way, he's just c-curious, right Shayne?" She looked at him.
"Oh no, I'm happy you told us, both of you!" He said with a smile, "we just want you to feel comfortable".
"Yeah," Noah confirmed.
"Y'all be yourselves," Keith smiled.
I felt a sigh of relief come out of my mouth. I looked at Y/N, she was staring into space.

"Alright!" Joe caught our attention, "lunch break".

Time-skip Your POV

That was awkward... I mean, I didn't exspect Courtney to be bi and I certainly wouldn't have guessed it. Although, her relationship with Olivia could be a tell. It was quite clear that the squad was supportive, but it was nice to hear Olivia's shout out for acceptance.

Courtney and I are walking to the changing rooms to change out of our wet clothes, both of us were soaked from the neck down to about our lower thighs.

"Soo," Courtney looked at me as we entered the decently spacious changing room, "you're gay?" She asked pulling out her clothes from her bag.
"Oh, uh, yeah..." I stayed awkwardly looking anywhere else but at her.
"THATS SO COOL" I jumped not expecting the sudden outburst.
"Yeah?" I looked at her slightly confused, smiling a little.
"Yeah, I finally have someone to relate with I guess. You know, I admire the fact that you trusted us with that information so fast," she said.
"I only said it because you said you were bi".
"How did you know if I was lying or not?" She asked taking off her shirt.
I looked away slightly embarrassed, "oh, well I didn't, but I," I stopped myself there for a moment, wondering why I did believe, "I suppose I was hoping for it".
"Really?" She asked, a slight redness appearing in her cheeks as she looked at me in the eyes. Hers were such a beautiful shade of green, catching the light perfectly .
"Well yeah," I suddenly realized how forward that sounded, " I-I mean, y-you know like, to have a gay buddy," I covered quickly.
"Oh yeah, right," she looked away.
I took off my shirt and put my other one on, covering that with a lilac hoodie.

We finished changing and walked out together into the main office area where Olivia was standing in her phone.

"Hey Liv Liv," Courtney called jogging over, I followed.
"Hey," I said, becoming more and more comfortable.
"Hey guys, the boys all went to this weird new fried chicken place, I thought I'd wait for you to finish changing".
"Thanks," I said, "but do you not like fried chicken or something?" I asked
"Oh I do, but it's in a concentrated part of LA that I'm not about to be in grid lock traffic for three quarters of our lunch break".
"How long is lunch break? I kinda end up just sitting on my computer and doing paperwork so the time flys." I asked.
"It's an hour and a half," Courtney said, "you just want to get Postmates sushi and sit in the squad room?"
"Yeah," Olivia said.
"Sounds like fun!" I said as we followed Courtney into the Squad room.
