————————Courtney's POV
Y/N had been taking calls all day in between shoots. We had been on the Wild West set for 5 days, the last 3 of which Y/N had spent calling or texting. Usually this wouldn't be an issue, but since then she's been absent when I or any of the Smosh family is around, even if I'm alone with her in our room. I wouldn't mind, but she's not even texting me! That sounds selfish and it is, but who is so important that it takes up all of your free time and sucks the life out of you every second of the day? The point here is, I'm mad, very mad. No, "morning baby" or "how are you love", nothing, not even a word. I want to talk to Y/N, but if it's so important that I get knocked out the picture, I'm sure she'll just pop back on into our lives when she "feels" like it, right?Your POV
These last 3 days have been an absolute drain for me. In between shooting for SSG and I've been none stop calling and texting my dad. Apparently my mother got into a car accident and was admitted to the hospital. Of course my dad thinks it's my fault, which could very well be the case since I'm not there to drive them around. I'm stuck trying to help them with paperwork and financial issues while doing my job, I haven't even had the light of day to talk to Courtney which I'm really upset about. I feel really bad because I love her so much and I've just been zoned out. I don't even deserve her in the first place really. I'm just as shitty as my parents aren't I? Hopefully when we all return home from SSG, this can be sorted much faster and I can make it up to Courtney. I can't stand my parents sometimes, but I don't want them to die. I'm stuck with conflicting feelings 24/7. When I realized how late it was I walked into the living room with my head down texting my dad. He was sending me a list of injuries my mother had along with all the medication details, what hospital they were at and what exactly happened at the accident. Photos were flying across my screen as he sent them. I became more and more anxious, concerned for my mother. I sat down on the sofa as I heard chatter from all around me. I hadn't seen Courtney all morning and I'm starting to feel upset. She was my light of day and I haven't even said "good morning babe".Dad: I'll text you the financial details tomorrow. That is it, you better help us out of the ditch you created Y/N.
Y/N: I will dad, thanks. Say hi to mom for me if she wakes up.
Dad: whatever.
I put down my phone and sighed pinching the bridge of my nose. I heard the chatter around me stop. Confused, I looked up to see everyone there, looking at me.
"Is there something on my face?" I asked.
"You okay?" Mari asked looming over me slightly. She looked me dead in the eyes.
"Fine," I said looking away from her eyes.
"Are you sure?" Ian asked.
"Yeah it's fine," I repeated myself, feeling slightly irritated.
I stood up quickly, shocking Mari into backing up a little. She stood her ground.
"You seem very off Y/N... you've been weird lately," Shayne said walking towards me as well..
"I'm FINE," I asserted myself once more with a raised tone Mari backed up further, Shayne looked nervous.
Someone came in from the kitchen and I could feel their stare.
"WHAT?!" I turned to see Courtney, an unimpressed look on her face. I immediately shrunk.
"Our room, NOW!" She said grabbing my shirt and pulling me to our room.
"Courtney! What the hell?! Now people are going to think we're-"
"What's so wrong with that huh?" She asked.
"Nothing! It's just I don't know how they would feel!" I said back.
"What's been up with you lately, you've basically ignored me and everyone else for the past 3 days! I'm your girlfriend
Y/N!" She said louder.
"I'm sorry! I've been busy!" I said just as loud. She was leaning against the bunk beds, I stood in front of the door.
"Oh what? Busy texting? Who have you been texting anyway and calling? Is it some other girl or something?!"
I became very offended by that remark, "Are you serious?! Why would I be texting another girl, I love you!" I yelled.
"WHO HAVE YOU BEEN TEXTING!"
"IT DOESN'T MATTER!"
"YOUR CHEATING ON ME—"
"MY MOMS DYING COURTNEY!"
There was a pause. Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.
"Wh-what?" Courtney asked softly.
"She's dying and I've been texting my dad," I said, letting a tear slip down my cheek before wiping it away.
"I didn't know —"
"Court, I love you, why would I do that to you?" I choked.
"I-I—"
"I'm going to just... go. I need a few minutes," I said turning and opening the door.
"Y/N—"
"Please Court," I said. I opened the door and shut it behind me, jogging past the living room, which was dead silent, eyes tracking my every move. I then sprinting out the door. I ran as far and as fast as I could eventually finding a path roughly 5 minutes from the shooting spot. I followed it into some woods, seeing maps and direction along the way. I eventually found a clearing with a bench placed in the middle. I sat down, tears streaming from my eyes at this point. I looked up to the trees eventually submitting the my feelings. I started to sob into my hands.
