Courtney's POV
Apparently our air bnb is just over 3 hours away. We've been driving there behind Y/N's van the entire time, all I can see is the suitcases that are stacked up in the back. I miss her, but I guess it may be good to be away for a while.
I was sitting on the very left, Olivia had sat next to me with Damien to Olivia's right. Behind us was Keith, Lasercorn, and Matt Raub along with Sunny and Joe in the front. Sunny of course was driving.
Olivia had fallen asleep and had rested her head against me. I felt bad for her as we all know she gets very sick. I pulled out my phone hearing a ding.
It was a text from Y/N:
Y: Hey baby
C: Hey what's up?
Y: Not a lot is going on, everyone is super lively tho. :P
C: It's very quiet in here, how are you feeling?
Y: I'm okay, a little sick tho.

I became worried when Y/N said she felt sick. So I began to question.

C: What do you mean sick?
C: Are you okay?
C: Do you need something?
C: I can stop the car and help you.
Y: Baby, don't worry. Just a little car sickness. Should go away soon.
C: You have car sickness too?

How could I not notice this? It was so obvious.

Y: yeah long journeys make me feel bad 😞
C: Hang in there baby, maybe try and sleep, that's what Olivia's doing.
Y: I will, we're going to start vlogging so I'll text you later bb. 💜
C: 😘😘😘

I sighed getting bored again, I hope this car ride is over soon.

Your POV
"Who you texting," a voice said. I jumped suddenly not expecting it. I dropped my phone and it landed in my lap, Mari had been looking at my phone holding one of my ear buds. It was blasting music and I didn't realize how loud it was until she pulled it out of my ear. I instinctively picked up my phone and turned it down.
"Jesus Mari, you could like tap me or something,"
"Y/N?"
I turned to my right to see Sarah staring at my phone too. This was becoming a mess.
"Oooh, you got a girlfriend?"
"What, no—"
DING
A message popped up with three kissy emojis. Perfectly wrong timing.
"Oooh Y/N,"
"Shhhh guys! I don't need the whole world knowing I'm dating someone,"
"Whatever you want." Sarah chuckled. It then occurred to me that I was sitting in between two married women. I probably look exceptionally young and dumb in their eyes.
I snapped myself out of thought realizing how sick I was feeling. Looking down at my phone always makes it worse.
I suddenly felt very young again, like I was in the back of my parents car.
"Weees?" I called out, "are we there yet?" I called from the back of the van. Everyone looked at me, I immediately became embarrassed. Joven saw this as an excellent time to turn the vlog camera to myself, which made me more sheepish. However, Wes, being the wannabe Dad he is, just chuckled and, not taking his eyes off the road said, "only another half an hour to go Y/N".

Timeskip

We arrived at the "Wild West" shoot spot, the cabins that we were staying in was placed all around the center. I got out the car as quickly as possible and found a nearby bush. I leaned over the bush feeling extremely nauseous. I could feel how hot my face was. Someone came to loom over me, but I was too busy dry heaving to know. That is until I realized it was Shayne of course, vlogging my unfortunate events. I held a middle finger up to him and the camera, not looking away from the bush and ground.
"I hate you so much right now Shayne," He laughed his hearty laugh walking away, presumably to put the camera down.
The feeling of nausea not subsiding, I made it a point to not move from the position I was in. Before long my dry heaves turned into actual vomit, a sight, smell, and taste that wasn't very pleasant. Not long after the first actual vomit, a hand reached my back and started to rub circles into it. It was calming, and I decided it best not to look to see who it was because at that point it didn't really matter.
After about 10 minutes the nausea subsided and the vomiting stopped. Thankfully around five minutes in, Matt Raub, Sunny, and some other members came to check in with me to which I responded with more vomiting at the time. Some did come sporting water, though I'm unaware of who as I was too busy spilling my contents.
I stood up straight, feeling pain in my lower back as I had been hunched over for too long. I stretched it out, taking a sip of the water that was given to me.
I turned to see who had been by my side the entire time, and not to my surprise it was Courtney. She smiled at me for a moment, but it quickly faded into a worrying frown. I couldn't smile back, the events of what just happened overshot the smiled I wanted to reciprocate.
"You okay baby," she whispered, picking her words carefully as not many knew of our relationship.
"Yeah," I stated, "I am now." I finished the water bottle in my hand.
"Let's go inside, you can get some more water. Everyone is waiting for us," she said, pulling me inside.
I tried to shake off the awkwardness of what just occurred. Although they were like family now, I still felt this uncomfortable feeling when I did something embarrassing, which I guess is the case in most families now that I think about it. Although I thought I'd be met with laugher, I was surprised to be met with concerned looks and questions wondering if I was okay. Most surprisingly though was when Shayne stood up from his seat and just hugged me.
"You okay Shayne?" I asked shocked at first, but eventually wrapping my around him.
"Sorry for not staying with you, recording it was a dick move," he said pulling away.
"Nah it was pretty funny actually," I said, trying to lift the guilt from his shoulders.
"I still should have helped," he said smiling at my comment.
"Nah your good, that hug was help enough," I said.
"Well we don't have anything to do today other than film a team picking this afternoon followed by the first game."
"That's good," I said, "but for now I'm going to find a room to lay down in," I said, feeling slightly dizzy.
"Oh- okay, you sure you're alright?" He asked placing his hand on my shoulder, he looked me in the eyes, but I started to find it hard to star me him in the face too.
"Yeah I'm good, does it matter what room I take?" I asked, getting a little more desperate. A huge wave of dizziness came over me followed by an even bigger wave of tiredness.
"No, it doesn't," someone else said, I didn't realize it but there was now Mari, Wes, Olivia, Courtney, and Shayne with me. The others were looking on in confusion.
"Yeah, why don't you and Courtney room together," Olivia said, "and you just pick a room and go," she seemed very concerned at this point as well.
"Okay," I said confused by the looks on their faces. I started to walk with Courtney. At first I was okay, but as I progressed more into the hallway, my knees started to shake a little.
We got to the first room and I just walked right in. Courtney said something, but I didn't hear. She shut the door behind us and look at me in the eyes as I sat down.
She was talking, I couldn't hear her. I stared at her in confusion until she stopped.
She looked at me concerned. I shuffled over to the edge of the bed and layers down, immediately drifting into sleep.

Courtney's POV
I took Y/N inside she hadn't realized it yet, but she was getting very pale. At that point mothering instincts kicked in and I rushed her in side, probably making her more dizzy.
When we got inside she looked like she went in she looked like she wasn't in this world. Shayne came over to hug her and talk to her, I looked at the eldest of our crew, Mari, Joe, and Matt Raub, not knowing what to do.
"Yeah I'm good," Y/N. She then asked what room to take. She was clearly starting to feel it.
Some people got up and started to walk over, holding onto Y/N.
No, it doesn't," Mari said trying to looks her in the eyes.
"Yeah, why don't you and Courtney room together," Olivia said, "and you just pick a room and go," Olivia seemed to notice the progressive change in Y/N's colour as well.
I nodded at Olivia. I took Y/N's arm and walked with her to the first room.
We walked in and I shut the door behind me.
Y/N sat on the bottom bunk. I tucked my hair behind my ears and crouched down to talk to her.
"Babe you okay? You're making me worried. Y/N?" I looked her in the eyes. She stared back blankly. I stopped talking as she shuffled farther into the bunk bed until her shoulder hit the wall. She immediately fell asleep.
Although concerned, I knew it was probably just the car ride here. I didn't know I could get that severe. I kissed her forehead as someone opened the door.
