Sam was just about to agree to getting himself looked at when he heard James screaming. Knowing there was no way he'd be able to leave the drummer now, he helped Cameron to his feet, pressing a kiss to his cheek as he hurried down the hall to Jake's room. He heart sank when his eyes fell on Jake's body. The same body that only hours ago had been so happy, so full of life was now fighting to survive in front of their eyes. He stepped closer to James, slipping an arm around his waist as he rested his head against James shoulder, as he watched them work to save his life. "They're doing what they can, James. He's gonna be okay"

Matt raised an eyebrow as he looked at Andy, a bit confused. He wrapped his arms around his husband, holding him tight. "Baby, what's wrong? How do you know he's not okay?" He asked, trying to understand what was going on. He turned his head toward the window when he heard car doors, turning back to Andy "everyone's here"

The nurses carefully cleaned the blood from Ben's face and neck, attaching oxygen to him before pushing him out and into the hall, moving careful but quickly down the hall toward a recovery room, freeing up the OR for someone who may need it. Settling Ben into the recovery room with the oxygen machine and morphine drip, the nurse returned the get Danny's attention. "Are you a relative?"

Cameron followed Sam to the window, looking in while his breath hitched in his chest and he shook his head, turning away. "I can't. I'm sorry, but I can't," he muttered as he moved toward Danny to try to overhear what the nurse was telling him. Moving his hand to his side, he pressed against the spot above the glass slowly, trying to relieve some of the pain.

James looked back to Sam, shaking his head quickly. His voice was broken when he spoke through his sobs. "That's not okay, he's dying!" he screamed, not intending to take it out on Sam, and he wasn't really angry, but he was so scared that he didn't know how to handle it. He felt his breath quickening, chest heaving while he felt the beginnings of a panic attack.

Andy looked up quickly when he heard the doors closing. Looking back at Matt, he shook his head slightly. "I don't know how to explain it, I just... know," he looked back to the door when the guys filed in quickly. Squeezing Matt's hand before he moved quickly to cross the living room and almost instantly move his arms around Ashley, muttering softly. "Something's really wrong," he explained, hoping someone, any of them, would understand what he meant.

Danny nodded his head, sucking his bottom lip into his mouth as his eyes fell to the band he wore on his finger. before mumbling "he's my husband" he said proudly, turning his attention back to toward the floor. He swallowed hard, taking in a shaky breath "how is he?" He asked. His voice was soft, almost childlike as he looked at the nurse with hopeful eyes.

Sam lifted his head as he nodded. He knew James was upset. Knew pretty much anything he said or did right now was the fear talking, not him. And even though it was breaking his heart, he couldn't look away. A few minutes passed before someone came out of the room, looking at James and Sam "are you guys with Mr. Pitts?" She asked.

Matt returned the squeeze to Andy's hand, glancing behind him at the guys. Ashley, who had already been crying, ran up to Andy, burying his head against Andy's chest. "It's bad, Andy. It's fucking bad and I know it" he shook his head as he looked up, hoping Andy would understand and wouldn't think he was completely insane, much like the others had.

The nurse nodded slightly, glancing back at the room they'd moved Ben to. "He's stable, but he's lost a lot of blood, but we have him on a morphine drip, so he may a little out of it when he wakes up," she explained, stepping aside. "But you're welcome to go in and see him."

James shook his head slightly, dropping his head while he spoke softly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you," he apologized, then spun quickly when he heard someone behind them. Nodding slightly while he held his breath momentarily. "Yes, is he okay?"

Andy nodded slightly, stepping back to look at Ashley. "I know," he agreed, biting at his lip nervously. "Matt got plane tickets," he explained, moving his hand down to grab Ashley's tightly, then reached back to grab Matt's again, keeping them both close.

Danny took a deep breath as he pushed the door open, his eyes slipped closed briefly before his eyes fell on Ben. He swallowed hard as he inched closer to the bed, pulling the chair next to the bed. He gently took his hand, lacing their fingers together. "Ben, please wake up baby" he said softly, his thumb running across his hand slowly. And just when he thought the tears were done, his eyes filled with tears once more. He leaned over, resting his head against the bed, his eyes remaining on his husband.

Sam shook his head, "no need for apologies, James" he said softly, looking up when he heard the nurses voice. "Mr. Pitts is in critical condition right now. One of the shards of glass pierced his carotid artery. He's actually flatlined once already" her voice trailed off as age have them a minute to process the news before continuing "we will keep you informed on any change" she added before hurrying back in the room. Sam's eyes slipped closed for a moment before slipping his phone out, dialing Andy's number.
