Jake nodded slightly, thankful that everyone seemed to be okay. Part of him thought they might should wake the others, let them know he was okay. But, in all honesty, he was rather enjoying this time alone with James. Even though he was in a hospital bed. Surrounded by people. With Andy snoring in his ear. He smiled softly as he looked at James. "You weren't hurt, were you?" He asked softly, biting gently at his lower lip.

Danny shook his head, laughing as he looked at his husband "I'm your pool boy" he teased, wiggling his eyebrows, not realizing Ben was far from joking. "How are you feeling, gorgeous?" He asked finally, stretching his arms above his head.

James was actually thankful for the quiet time together, almost positive that they wouldn't get much of it in the days to come, what with both their bands lingering around and all. Shaking his head slightly, he glanced down. "No, I'm fine," he promised, though he'd decided against telling anyone about the splitting headache he'd had since the wreck. Bringing Jake's hand up to kiss the back of it, he laid against the pillow, sighing softly. "We were all so worried..."

Ben furrowed his eyebrows slightly, leaning back on the bed while he looked over Danny. "Like I've been hit by a train. I don't have a pool, where are we?" He questioned, looking around a little more frantically.

Jake grinned at James as he attempted to slide in closer to the drummer. "Ouch" he started, shutting his eyes tight "remind me to never do that again" he said, laughing slightly as he looked over the drummer "are you sure?" He asked softly, needing to make absolutely sure James was okay. He sighed softly, frowning at his words. "I'm really sorry I scared you, baby."

Danny raised an eyebrow, noting Ben's behavior was very unlike Ben. Usually, when Danny made a statement like that, one of two things would have happened. Either he'd have played along, or smacked him. He sat up in the bed, looking at Ben with concern. "Baby," he started, "you're in the hospital. Our bus wrecked a couple days ago and you got hurt pretty bad"

James winced slightly as Jake tried to move, shaking his head a little. Moving closer instead of making Jake move, he pressed up against him gently, mindful of the cuts that may have been a little sore still. He smiled softly, closing his eyes while his fingers curled into Jake's. "I'm sure. You don't need to apologize, love. It wasn't your fault," he assured him, peeking one eye open while he leaned closer, kissing his lips slowly.

Ben pushed himself weakly until he was sitting up, looking over at Danny with wide eyes. "You need to go," he suggested, nodding toward the door. He wasn't sure who this man was, but he was obviously a little too comfortable with Ben than Ben was with him. "I mean, don't get me wrong, you're gorgeous and if we fucked, I'll call it a personal win, but there's no need for you to stick around."

Jake glanced at his side when he heard a groan coming from the other side of the bed. He turned his head to the side, laughing when he noticed it was Adam, trying to get comfortable in the bed. Turning his attention back to James he took a deep breath "why do I get the feeling your not telling me something?" He asked softly, "like something happened and you don't want me to know"

Danny then realized Ben wasn't joking. He really didn't know who he was. He slid off the bed slowly "Ben" he started, walking around to the other side of the bed "baby, I'm your husband. I love you" he said, pressing the call button for the nurse. He jumped slightly when a loud voice came through the speaker. "Can someone come in here? There's something wrong with my husband"

James looked up when Jake called him out, and he shook his head slightly, offering a small smile. "I just don't want to overload you or anything, I don't want to scare you or freak you out about what happened," he explained. He was having a hard time not just throwing caution to the wind and showering Jake with affection, reminding him over and over how happy he was, how much he loved him.

Ben pressed himself back against the wall, looking over Danny with wide eyes. He was suddenly scared, having been almost positive that he was just coming back from a drunken blackout, but it was a little more obvious that this wasn't just some stupid prank. He breathed quickly, looking around again for an exit, but the railing on the bed made it a little more difficult to get away. "No. No, I don't even know you!" He shouted loudly, pulling the blanket up to cover himself quickly.

Jake smiled softly as he looked into James' eyes. "Okay. I don't guess it matters anyway" he agreed, slipping an arm around James waist, burying his face in the curve of his neck. "I love you, James" he said quietly, letting his eyes slip closed as he held the drummer close.

Danny backed up slowly, holding his hand up. "Hey, relax. I'm not going to hurt you. I'd never heard you." He backed toward the door, yelling out into the hallway. "Someone please help us?"

James moved his arms tightly around Jake, tangling his fingers into the back of his hair while he held him close. Closing his eyes while he pressed his face against the side of his head, he pressed kisses slowly over the tangled, matted mess of hair. "I love you. I really need you to know that, I need you to know that I'm so in love with you, Jake, and I'm not going anywhere, no matter what happens."

Ben quickly pulled the clamp from the tip of his finger, causing the machine to flatline, despite him being very much alive. Working the IV out of his hand, he hissed at the sting of the needle, suddenly noticing his arms and hands, twisting them to look over the tattoos that he didn't remember having. Closing his eyes tightly as tears seeped from the corners of his eyes, he hung his head, whispering fearfully. "I'm so confused." Danny felt strangely familiar to him, like he knew him and couldn't place him, and the rings on their fingers backed his story, but he couldn't have been married. No way. He didn't even know his name. As a nurse came running quickly, she looked into the room, then to Danny. "Mr. Worsnop, do you know where you are?" She questioned Ben, who shook his head. "There's been a mistake, my name is Benjamin Bruce."

The smile on Jake's face grew at James' words. "James, I am head over heels on love with you.." His voice trailed off as his eyes filled with tears. "I heard you...you're the reason I fought to come back. I fought to come back to you." He said softly, letting his eyes slip closed.

Danny swallowed hard, his back against the door as he watched his husband in fear. "But we're married..." His voice trailed off as he closed his eyes tightly, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Why is this happening right now?" He cried, sliding down against the wall.

The words sent a chill down James' spine and he smiled a little wider. Pressing a kiss to Jake's temple, he leaned back to look over him. "So... you heard everything?" he questioned, a little concerned that he'd heard the fighting as well. Glancing up when he heard the yell from down the hall, he looked back to Sam and Cameron before sitting up slightly. "Sam... Sam, wake up..."
