As everyone drifted off to sleep, Andy was the last to go. Seemingly hours after everyone else, though in reality it was only a few minutes. With quiet breaths heard from around the room and the talking having died down to silence, he finally let his eyes close. His fingers moved idly through Matt's hair, soothing him, though the movement was slowly lulling him to sleep as well. Finally giving in, he fell into a deep sleep, tired and a little stuffy from the chill in the air of the hospital, all paired with being in a strange place left Andy to cope the only way he knew how. His mouth fell open slightly and a loud snore resonated through the room, inches from Jake's face.

Jake heard something. Something loud. Something close to his face. Something extremely loud and close to his face. With a low groan and a twitch of his hand, Jake's eyes slowly opened, trying to focus on something, anything. He searched for the source of the loud noise, shaking his head when he spotted Andy lying next to him on the bed. " what a way to wake up" he said, only half joking. He looked up, spotting a nurse. She laughed slightly, smiling brightly at him as she wrote some numbers down before she turned her attention to Jake. "Well, nice to see you awake, Mr. Pitts. We've all been worried about you" she said as she looked around the room with a laugh. They were all there. All of his band, Aaron, Matt, Cameron and Sam. Where was Ben and Danny and more importantly, where was James. He sighed softly, visibly upset that his boyfriend didn't seem to be there. The nurse must have sensed what he was thinking, because instantly she nodded her head to Jake's other side, where James lie fast asleep. He grinned as he leaned in slowly, pressing a firm kiss to his cheek. "Baby," he started quietly to not disturb the others. "Baby, wake up"

Under normal circumstances, James probably would have been disturbed by the snoring much sooner than he was, but tonight he was tired. Exhausted, and with inklings of pain through his back, but he was intent on not leaving. He slept with his face pressed into the pillow, mouth hanging open and his arms tucked against his chest, scared of hurting Jake if he held him. Stirring slightly when he was almost positive that his subconscious was playing a horrible, cruel trick on him, he frowned deeply, pouting his lower lip out while it quivered slightly, whispering to himself. "Not nice," he muttered, finally prying his eyes open to see Jake looking back at him. It took a second for it to register, but when it did, his heart raced in his chest. Breathing a little faster, he whispered softly to Jake. "Is this real?"

Jake smiled softly, "yes it's real" he said softly. And while he had no idea why he was here, or what happened, he'd never been more excited to see James. He took a deep breath as his hand searched for James', grabbing it as he laced their fingers together. "I have a question" he started softly, voice trailing off when Andy got a bit louder. He turned to look at the singer, shaking his head with a laugh before looking back at the drummer. "What happened to me? Why am I here?"

James' eyes closed tightly again, and in his mostly sleep deprived state, he couldn't stop the tears that slipped from behind his eyelids. Happy ones, of course, but tears all the same. His hand found Jake's and he held it tightly while the other moved to the side of his face slowly, leaning in to kiss his lips again, letting it linger while he exhaled against his lips. Whispering softly, he sniffled quietly. "You scared the fuck out of me, Jake," he admitted quietly, moving his fingers slowly through Jake's hair. Bringing his hand up to wipe at his eyes with the back of it, he looked back at Jake, waving his hand slowly. "I'm sorry, I'm just. Fuck, I'm so happy you're okay." He shook his head again, taking in a deep breath. "We um, we were in an accident. The bus flipped and you and Ben were both hurt pretty badly, but your'e both okay, we're all okay..."

Jake swallowed hard as his eyes slipped closed. He hadn't realized how close he'd come to dying & felt guilty for causing everyone, especially James to worry. He reached over, cupping James' face in his hands. "I'm sorry I worried you, baby" he opened his eyes, sighing softly as his eyes scanned the room at their friends, all sound asleep on the chairs, floors and the bed. "I don't remember anything. The last thing I remember is us going to bed" he said as he turned his attention back to his boyfriend. "But, I love you & I'm glad your face was one of the first I saw when I woke up...so, Ben's okay though, right?" He asked softly, needing to make sure he was okay too.

James didn't want to overload Jake with information, he didn't want to scare him or freak him out, and he definitely didn't want him to feel bad for it. Shaking his head slightly, he smiled, laying his hand against Jake's face gently. "Don't apologize. You're here, you're alive, that's all I'm worried about," he assured him. Leaning closer to press another kiss to Jake's lips gently, he closed his eyes for a second. "I love you. And Ben's okay. He's a little out of it on the morphine, but he's okay."

Meanwhile, Ben stirred slightly from his sleep, his breath quickening when he felt a body lying next to him. Fluttering his eyes open slowly, he froze in his position. The man beside him looked vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place him, and as gorgeous as he was, Ben wanted answers. Shaking the sleeping frame slightly, he waited until Danny's eyes were fluttering to ask. "Who are you and why are you in my bed?"
