Part 20

Ashley offered a small smile as he nodded, glancing at Adam. He quickly took Adams hand, lacing their fingers together as they headed inside. Sam took a breath as he slowly got up from his seat, slipping an arm around James' waist as they headed inside the hospital and in Jake's room. Noticing the nurse leaving, Ashley looked from the guys to Jake, back to the guys again. "Did something happen?" He asked, hoping they'd been given some good news and not bad.

Matt looked up when the four entered the room. He bit nervously at his lower lip, hoping they'd settled their differences and weren't fighting anymore. He offered a small smile when they seemed to be okay, before clearing his throat. "She basically said she thinks he's going to get better." He started, giving Andy's hand a squeeze. "She said to keep talking to him, she thinks it's good for him. And she's bringing another bed in here too" he nodded, resting his head against the edge of Jake's bed. CC shook his head, grinning slightly as he looked at Aaron, "he looks so uncomfortable" he said, kneeling down to lightly stroke his cheek. "Baby?" He started as the door opened again and a bed was pushed inside. "Baby, wake up. They're bringing a bed in here"

Adam followed Ashley, as he usually did, in the sort of lost puppy state that he usually maintained. James moved one arm around Ashley's shoulders while the other reached back for Sam's hand, heading back into the hospital and into Jake's room. Stopping near the door when he saw the nurse, he looked around quickly for answers, laying his hand over his chest for a second when they relayed the news. "Scared the shit out of me," he muttered quietly.

Andy looked up slightly when the second bed was wheeled in, squeezing Matt's hand in return. "Do you want to lay down?" He questioned, though he was fairly certain he knew the answer. He wasn't leaving Jake's side, and he knew that Matt wasn't leaving his. Jinxx moved to sit against the side of the bed, tracing his fingers against the back of Jake's hand slowly. Aaron shifted as CC tried to wake him, turning his head slightly into his palm while his eyes fluttered. "Hm?" he mumbled, looking around slowly. "I'm okay," he slurred, reaching forward to pull CC closer into his lap.

Ashley slipped his arm around James' waist as they headed back in the hospital and into Jake's room. His eyes fell on Jake once more, taking a deep breath. Sam followed the group, giving James hand a light squeeze as they finally made their way inside the room. He offered a small smile to Cameron as he hesitantly let go of the drummers hand, quickly wrapping his arms around Cameron's waist.

Matt shook his head as he looked at Andy. "I'm good right here" he nodded, bringing Andy's hand to his lips, kissing over each knuckle slowly. "I want to be close to you, and I know you need to be right here" he said softly, nodding his head. CC sighed softly as he took a seat on Aaron's lap,leaning in to press a kiss to the side of Aaron's mouth.

James stepped closer to the side of the bed, slowly moving to climb onto it, laying on his side to make himself as small as he could while he pressed close to Jake, laying his head against the pillow. Laying his face close to Jake's, he leaned closer, pressing a kiss to his lips slowly. "Sweet dreams, love," he whispered quietly. Adam glanced over at the bed, moving his arm around Ashley's waist to pull him to the other side of the room. Moving the blanket back, he waited until Ashley sat down to reach down, pulling his boots off and settling them aside, toeing off his own shoes before climbing into the bed beside Ashley.

Andy nodded slightly, offering Matt a small smile. He stood up slowly, moving to lay himself on the other side of Jake, patting his chest for Matt to rest his head there, pushing his fingers slowly through Matt's hair. Jinxx sat back in a chair, curling his knees up against the side of the bed before resting his chin on them idly. Aaron wrapped his arms tightly around CC's waist, returning the kiss lazily before leaning his head back against the wall, looking at CC with half-lidded eyes. "Love you."

t only took minutes for Ashley's eyes to close and his breathing to even out as he lay wrapped in Adams arms, keeping his arm wrapped tightly around the others waist. Sam grinned at Cameron's words, holding on to him tightly, pressing a kiss to the curve of his neck. He moved toward the empty chair in the corner, gently tugging Cameron with him. He waited till he was settled before climbing on his lap. And although he hadn't planned on sleep, his eyes soon began to droop and it became harder to keep them open, he snuggled closer to Cameron as he finally gave in and let sleep take over.

Matt smiled softly as he moved the chair a tad closer of the bed, resting his head against his husbands chest. His hand quickly found Andy's, lacing their fingers together as he whispered "I love you" before he fell asleep. CC sighed softly, his own eyes closing as he whispered "love you too, baby" he'd planned on staying up all night. Keeping an eye on Jake & letting the others sleep. But, days events has taken their toll on him and he was soon fast asleep.
