"Seriously... she killed him." A man with dirty blonde hair and dark steel grey eyes spoke to another person, who grimaced and looked away. Her long black hair swaying slightly through the wind, and her broad shoulders slouching.
"What have you started, Crystallina?" She asked as tears fell from her hazel eyes.
------At HeadQuarters------
Crystal pulled her shirt over her head when she got a knock on the door, and she walked over to open it. She surely wasn't in uniform but she was getting there. It was Hanji, she had a folded cloak in her hands.
"We got your uniform." Hanji handed the cloak over, and Crystal moved it to reveal the new clothes, along with a new light blue shirt.
"You remembered..."
"Remembered what?" Hanji looked at her in a confused matter.
"My shirt is light blue..."
"Ah, yes. I noticed that you wore it every day so I decided to order you that one." Crystal smiled gratefully before she motioned for Hanji to leave, "I expect to see you in it during breakfast?"
"I'm skipping this morning, gonna go straight for training." Crystal said as she ripped off her old shirt, she had a tank top underneath so it wasn't as weird.
"Then..." Hanji started, "I'll tell Levi to train with you. One on One."
"That sounds fine, Commander."
"See you later, Crystal." Hanji left and closed the door, Crystal changed fully into the new uniform and belts, now finally feeling comfortable. Her old outfit was a year old, so it was reasonably tighter on her body and the newer clothing fit perfectly. So she left with a smile, her boots finally fitting to her size, and she made her way out to the training fields. As she walked up, she could see Levi's figure standing against a wall, and she approached him slowly.
"Sorry if Hanji forced you to be out here." Crystal apologized, scratching the back of her neck, and Levi looked up from his cup of tea.
"Interrupted my breakfast but I already finished eating, let me see you practice with the titan dummies again, and then I'll show you what I can do." Crystal nodded and grabbed a set of ODM gear meant for training. Slowly she strapped it on, but all the while felt Levi's eyes watching her closely, and then she took off towards the dummies. Cutting through their napes effectively, and her speed wasn't too fast but she was pretty good at conserving her gas. Levi watched intently, putting his tea down with a cover over it to get his gear on, and by the time she returned he was geared up.
"How was I...?"
"Efficient," Levi said before he got ready to take off, "Watch how I do it, then take pointers if you feel you need to." Levi took off quickly, and Crystal watched with wide eyes, his skill with the gear surpassed her, so she kept making mental notes of everything he did. Then when he cut the nape, he had flipped the handle to hold it the opposite way, slicing through the nape deeply but quickly.
'Flipped his blade...' Crystal kept in mind how his hand flipped, and instincts kicked in, causing her hand to flip the blade, she looked at it curiously. Levi landed next to her, not even a drop of sweat on his body and he stared at the blade she held in the way he does.
"You want to try it like that?"
"Well... it's definitely weird." Crystal admitted, but then held both of the blades, and swung them at the ground. Levi had originally been confused, but when she cut the ground, she cut it into an 'X'.
"Explain to me why you do it like that," Levi demanded out of curiosity, and Crystal looked at him for a moment before smiling.
"I've got a scar from my father on my back in the shape of an 'X'. So every time I cut a titan's nape, I imagine cutting him the same way he did me." Crystal then readied to take off again, "I'll see how comfortable it is for me to cut with this..." Crystal took off fast, and Levi watched with interest, he wanted to see how well she would do. Just as he wondered how good it would be, she spun and cut open the nape, leaving behind a very deep cut, in the shape of an X.
