Chapter 10

"Crystal! Get up!"

Levi? What?

"Its time to get up! I can't have you unconscious for much longer!"

Unconscious?

Crystal stirred and opened her eyes, to see a very pissed but a very concerned Captain leaning over her bed. She looked at him in confusion as he spoke up at the sight of her eyes.

"Mikasa and Armin had to bring you back here, they said you fainted after they spoke with you. I was worried you got poisoned."

"So that was all a dream...?"

"What was?" Levi asked curiously, but Crystal shook her head as she sat up quickly, and Levi decided to continue on, "None of the men is coming clean on your father's location."

"Of course they won't Levi. You know how thick water is down in the underground." Levi didn't say anything but nodded in response, since they both silently agreed on that being a fact, "Let me see them."

"Crystal you're in no condition-"

"Neither is your arm..." Crystal snapped back at him and looked down at his arm, where bandages were stained by blood.

"Are you still stressed about that-?" Levi's eyes widened as she grabbed his arm and suddenly her lips pressed against the wounds place on his arm.

"I'm sorry." Crystal mumbled, holding his arm there before leaning back, "I'll go down to see them immediately." Levi couldn't say anything as she got up and walked passed him, making his hair blow away from the air she exerted with her walk.

Crystal looked at Hanji as she walked in, and saw Jesse look at her with a bloodied face.

"Am I dreaming?" Jesse smirked and Hanji sighed as she walked up to Crystal.

"Go rest with Levi, Hanji. I'll get some answers out of him, " Crystal walked up to the man who then lost all joke in his face, and he started to try to squirm, "Don't cry now... you're just going to feel a little pain."

"No! No-!!" The man screamed, but Crystal had grabbed his hand and snapped it against the arm of the chair he was tied to.

"Now tell me if Jariksu is hiding in that old house in the underground city or I'll break every finger until you spill."

"I'm telling you! I don't know!" Jesse cried, but Crystal refused to listen and snapped his index finger back, making the man scream louder. She continued to interrogate him, as Levi and Hanji cringed every time they heard the man scream in agony. 

"She knows how to torture someone..." Hanji mumbled as she looked at Levi, "How do we even know that she's not actually the criminal?"

"I wouldn't trust a criminal." Levi shot back, but a memory came into mind, "Plus... I remember buying the original ODM gear I ever bought..."

"What was she like...?"

"She was thin... like, you could define her bones and you could see where the bones connected. Although I didn't really say much to her, she had a belt around her neck, with a leash... Always with three men behind her. I think one of them was that guy I kicked."

The man screams in agony, screaming out, "He's there! He's at that house!"

"Sounds like our girl came up with something from him." Hanji stood up and walked towards the basement door, only to see Crystal coming up with blood all over her hands, "So?"

"Get dressed into the rattiest clothes you can find, Commander, Levi, you do the same. We're going into the underground city."
