I've been in the studio nonstop the past few weeks. I needed at least an EP worth of songs. After finishing Teenager in love , i finished dead and with some help from my friends i wrote two more : home with you and say it to my face. I had 5 songs ( including my original song Tyler durden ). Making so many songs all at once was difficult but i was still proud of them.
I decided to release the EP a week before tour started , just so it would already be out and could get at least a little recognition. And with help from the boys it'd get some attention from their fans that'll be attending the concert.
I was currently at home packing for tour , i didn't know what i was gonna need so i packed everything i could possibly think of. Maddie was over keeping me company.
" i think home with you is my favorite off the EP " she tells me as she's scrolling through her phone.
" Why? " i asked , folding a dress to make it fit in the suitcase.
" i don't know , it's just got a good beat and the lyrics are really good " she shrugs. " are you excited to be spending so much quality time with Ashton " she says , raising her eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes. The girls have been asking me about Ashton non-stop lately. " nothing's gonna happen Mads , he's not into me like that " i sigh.
" he definitely is , i don't know what you're talking about " she argues

" I'm done talking about this with you " i laugh and throw the shirt i was folding at her.
" Dakota you know I'm only giving you shit because i love you " she tells me , folding the shirt back up and handing it to me. " I also wouldn't be giving you shit if i didn't think Ashton liked you like that " she sighs , throwing herself back on my bed.
" I don't wanna think about that right now , i just want to focus on the tour , and how in a few short days I'll be singing in front of thousands of people " i smile to myself. Just thinking about it made happy.
" you're gonna do amazing babes. Me and the rest of the girls will show up to a bunch of the shows too. You didn't think you could join the guys on tour without us did you? " she said , taking my hand in hers.
Knowing I'd have the girls to support me ( plus Ashton and the rest of the guys too ) made me feel so much better. Sure if the crowd hated me I'd be devastated , but having the girls gave me a sense of relief.
" i better go , I'll see you bright and early Monday morning at the airport " Maddie laughs , grabbing her stuff and heading out.
I zip up my suitcase and put it by my bedroom door. I flop down on my bed and sigh. I'm going on tour with 5 seconds of summer. I'm gonna sing MY songs in front of thousands of people every night. My dreams are coming true.
