It was after the show in Brisbane and me and Ashton were laying in the hotel bed cuddling in silence. The whole tour has gone by so quick it feels unreal. We were almost done with the Australia/New Zealand leg of the tour. After that it was time for North America.
I looked up at Ashton and he was laying peacefully with his eyes closed. I reached my hand up and brushed through his curls softly with my fingers. He sighed and leaned his head into my touch.
" you make me so ridiculously happy Dakota , i just want you to know that " he whispered. Scared that speaking too loud with interrupt the peace.
" you make me so ridiculously happy too Ashton " i whisper back , pressing a soft kiss to his chest , just over his heart.
" i know my life is so complicated and that being with me publicly wouldn't be easy. But i want the world to know that you're mine. No one else has a chance. I'm yours. You're mine. I get to hold you and kiss you and love you whenever i want. When i think of my future all i see is you. " he said. A little louder than a whisper , but with so much seriousness and love in his voice it brought me to tears.
Ashton Irwin was the definition of perfect. Any woman who got to be with him was automatically the luckiest woman alive. And for whatever reason he wanted me.
" it's always been you Ashton Irwin. I never had a doubt that you were the person i was supposed to be with " i tell him , sitting up so we were eye level. He put his hand on my face and ran his thumb back and forth on my cheek.
He tilted his head at me and pulled me in for a soft kiss. He smiled against my lips and kissed me again and again. Repeated soft pecks on my lips.
" you are the most precious and beautiful thing in the world Dakota Lewis. I never want you to forget that " he says against my lips. Sealing his statement with another kiss before leaning back and pulling me into his chest to resume our cuddling.
I trace little hearts over his chest as he runs his finger tips up and down my back. I was the most relaxed I've ever been.
" now I'm speechless , over the edge I'm just breathless , i never thought that I'd catch this , love bug again " Ashton mumbles tiredly.
I let out a quiet giggle. Sleepy Ashton was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
" goodnight my love " i whisper against his chest.
" goodnight " he whispers back , pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
