(Aubri’s POV)

Well, my plans for having someone to shop with have gone down the drain. I got nothing but dirty looks after Harry left. When they came back from their 2 hour long break (that was supposed to be 30 minutes) Ashley ‘accidentally’ crashed into me and ‘accidentally’ spilled boiling hot coffee on me. I wanted to claw her eyeballs out and feed her body to starving lions…but I have to be the cordial one; If I’d fought back, it wouldn’t made her the victim instead of me. So what did I do back to her? I ‘accidentally’ closed her ponytail in the door when our boss left for lunch. I win.

Right now I’m just leaning on the counter at the register, flipping through a magazine, waiting for 6:30 to come along so I can leave. The sisters were on the other side of the store flirting with some guy that walked in. I think Ashley may know him, because this was the 4th time I’d seen him in here, but I don’t care enough to ask and it’s not like they’d tell me anyway.

The jingle of the door opening caught my attention. I lifted my eyes from the magazine to see Harry and Zayn walking in the store. Harry’s curly hair stuck out the sides of the snapback he was wearing. You’d think snapbacks would look weird on him…but no…they do not.

They walked toward me and I took chance to glance at Ashley and Nick. They, including the guy, were completely frozen as they watched Harry and Zayn walking towards me. Why do people stop what they’re doing just because they walk into a room? What’s the big deal?

“Hey babe.” Harry greeted. “Ready to leave?”

“I have until 6:30.”

Zayn pulled out his phone, “It’s 6:25. I think you can miss the last 5 minutes.”

“Got somewhere to be, Zayn?”

“Yeah, we’re all going out to dinner.” He said with a smile. “The three of us.”

“Really?” For some reason I was excited. Maybe it was because I was starving…or maybe because I get to spend time outside of the house? I don’t know, I’m just gonna go with the fact that I was starving. “Do I have to dress up or something?”

Harry shook his head, “Nah, you look fine in that.” I gave him a smile but he just rolled his eyes at me. “So can we—”

“What happened to your neck?” Zayn asked. My hand involuntarily rubbed at my neck as I realized my skin was probably still red from having boiling coffee spilled on me. I looked over at the girls then back to the boys.

“Ashley spilled hot coffee on me. It’s no big deal.”

Harry frowned, “Why’d she do that?”

“Because everyone here hates me. Don’t worry though, I got her back.”

“How?” Harry chuckled.

I burst into laughter, “I slammed her hair in the door. She trashed around like a fish.” Harry looked over at them. Nick smiled widely and gave him an eager wave back. I tried my hardest to hold back my laughter as he turned away from her.

“Is it 6:30 yet?”

“Yeah let’s go.” I walked around the counter and the boys followed me. I could feel the girls watching my every move. I was just about to reach for the door, but I was pulled back by my sweater, my back colliding into Harrys’s chest.

“What’d you have to ask me about?” He said quietly. His hot breath on my ear was making me uncomfortable as his forehead rested against my temple. Zayn looked at us with a smirk, I gave him a ‘help me’ look…but he just went on without us.
