(Aubri’s POV)

“Morning Summer!” Jenni chirped.

“Good morning. How are you, Jenni?” Whoa…four extra words that I don’t usually say. I’m not usually one for morning conversations, unless it’s with Harry. Even Jenni and Harry noticed it was more than I normally said as they both lift their eyebrows at me.

Jenni smiled, “Well someone’s in a good mood today!” Harry laughed beside me and I pinched his arm to shut him up. “Excited for the show?”

“Yeah, it should be great.” I smiled. “Is Lance coming tonight?”

“Yup! He usually has to work during those late hours, but he changed his shift so he could come. I’m so excited, you don’t even know! Okay, let’s get going. Harry are you going to be here for the day?” He nodded, he’s always here. “Perfect! You can help with the lifting and stuff. Okay, follow me.” I could barely understand her. She was talking too fast and moving her arms around like she was waving away invisible flies. I couldn’t help but laugh at her excitement as she skipped away signaling for us to follow her.

“Someone’s in a good mood.” Harry whispered to me as we walked behind Jenni.

I smirked, “Who?”

“Obviously you, Smiley.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I turned my face away from him, trying to hide my stupid smile. He groaned, pulling me into him as he kissed the top of my head. “You’re fucking adorable” I giggled before leaning up to give him a quick peck on the lips. I flashed back to only 45 minutes ago as I pulled away, and hide my face in Harry’s shoulder to hide my pink cheeks. It was making my heart race just thinking about it. It definitely did mean something, and that was new to me. We’ve only been dating two and a half weeks, but I’d liked him for so much longer—I just didn’t want to admit it—so now that we’ve finally been physically together…I’m starting to realize how scary I was..

After the shit I went through with Jeremy, I think it’s valid for me to be afraid..but Harry was nothing like Jeremy;  Harry cared about me; he wants the best for me and he wants to keep me safe and happy. He was so much better, that I was willing to pushed my fears and doubts away.

I really fucking like Harry, even with his secrets and temper attached.

“What are you thinking about that’s got you all smiley today?”

I blushed and looked away from him, “You.”

“Yeah?” I nodded, “Are you thinking about good things?” He bite his lips waiting for my answer as we still followed Jenni. I nodded again. “Well, tell me something good.” I smiled at him squeezing his hand a little.

“Nah, too sentimental.”

“Tell me something sentimental then.”

“Hm…” I pretended like I couldn’t think of anything, but in reality I had too many things swimming around to pick from. So I did what I usually do: I pussied out and changed the subject. “I think we should go on another date.”

He smiled, “Where would you like to go?”

“To the beach.” I nodded; I don’t know why, but I’d been craving to go to the beach lately. Not to walk around in a bikini or to tan…but to just listen to the ocean and watch clouds. I mean what else can you do at the beach? “If you wanna go to the beach, then we’ll go to the beach.” I blushed a little but I was too slow to say something back because Jenni was already listing off the things we had to do.
