*Raven's POV"

I was standing in the only light in the room. Slade watching from the darkness. I retrieved the item with barely to no problems.
"Did you run into the young Justice team?" He asked
"Yes, master." I responded
"Did you see him?" He asked
I hesitated, ".. Yes." A foot comes out and kicks me across the face, but I stand my ground. "Yes, master." I choke out. He came from the darkness, grabbing my face roughly, "you will have nothing to do with him. Do anything to get rid of him," He leans closer to my ear, "and I mean anything." He steps back and I stare into his eye, "yes master."
With that being said he walks away, leaving me all alone. I stand there in a daze, before stumbling to my room. It was a dull room, but there were books scattered everywhere. I make it there, trying to keep my emotions under control, but the moment I shut my door the tears started pouring. I collapsed on my bed, thinking about him. I tried not to, but I couldn't help it. He was right there! I could feel him staring at me the entire time, sending chills down my spine. I did to him what he did to me. Which was block our thought away from each other. I look up with tears in my eyes and I see my books flying everywhere. I sit Indian style on my bed and start chanting my mantra. I start to float while my books descend, but my thoughts never stray from him. I have to see him again. I have too...

Wally's POV

I was sitting in the kitchen at the cave. Ten sandwiches piled on my plate, but none of them touched. The team was staring at me while I was staring into space, but I didn't care. I could hear her. I could hear Raven and she was hurting. She was in pain. I feel tears form then run down my face.
"Wally.. Are you ok?" Robin asked hesitantly. I shake my head no, continuing to listen to Raven. I look up, noticing all was quiet. The team was looking at M'gann, then they turned to me. M'gann's eyes started to glow and I panicked. I ran out the door ignoring the cries of my team mates. I ran to a secluded area on the beach and screamed. I screamed until I couldn't scream anymore. I lay on the ground with a groan, trying to reach out to Raven. To let her know that I was still here. That I'm still looking for her. But everything was silent. All that could be heard was my heavy breathing and the teams footsteps approaching. Once they got in hearing range I spoke, "you guys aren't going to try and go through my mind again, are you?" I look over at them and feel a sense of pride in me when I saw shame cross their faces.
"We're sorry Wally. We just wanted to know what was wrong," Started M'gann
"Yea walls. You've been keeping secrets from us. What gives?" Finishes Robin. I look up at them and take a deep breath. "I'm sorry guys, but I've been really stressed lately... I had this friend, her name was Rachel," I pointedly looked at Robin when I said this, "she went missing about 2-3 years ago. The day she went missing is coming up." Tears started to form in my eyes, "I haven't stopped looking for her. She's not dead, I know it. She can't be... " With that being said I burst into tears. The team stood there in shock. The first to react was Robin, wrapping his arms around me. M'gann followed suit instantly, pulling Connor along too. Kaldure stood there, then finally followed, dragging Artemis into the pile as well.

We all just sat there, the team hugging me while I cry in their arms. Finally someone spoke, "is that what you meant by you won't fail again?" Asked Robin. I choked, but nodded my head yes. "I can't lose you guys too." They hugged me tighter but eventually I started to squirm. They let go and I got up, the teams eyes on me.
"I think I'm going to head home. I might even take a week or two leave from the team if that's ok?" I asked. Kaldure nods his head yes and with that I walked away. The team stayed behind, but I was still in hearing distance to hear M'gann say, "everything he said was the truth. Nothing was a lie." Then I heard Artemis screaming, "he has to be lying!"
I eventually get out of hearing distance, a smirk curling my lips. 'Gotcha,' I thought, heading towards the cave entrance.
'Wally?' I freeze, wondering if M'gann did go through my mind and was playing a trick on me.
'Wally?' She said again
'... Raven,' I choked out.
'Yes Wally. It's me,' she reassures me.
I collapse to the ground, tears forming. I can hear the team shout in alarm.
'Where are you?' I asked, it's silent for a minute
'I can't tell you,' she says. I start to hyperventilate, pulling at my hair.
'Wally, calm down,' she says calmly
'I can't,' I can hear the team coming rapidly, 'where are you?' It goes completely silent, causing me to panic even more. I don't want her to leave me. Not again. Robin slides beside me speaking rapidly, but I couldn't hear him. He tries to yank my hands away from my hair, but they wouldn't budge. The pain was the only thing keeping me semi sane.
Finally she says, 'follow the ravens tonight.' And with that she's gone. There was nothing but complete silence.
'Raven! Raven!?.. Rachel!?' I scream in my head, but nothing. I soon feel a presence in my head, hoping it was Raven. But then I'm knocked unconscious. My last thoughts lingering on Raven. My dream consisting of last seeing her all those years ago.
