Lies

Artemis POV

'I can't believe him! We're a team and he's keeping secrets!... But so am I... No! His involves a mercenary and some girl. I'm not jealous. I'm not!.. Am I??' I groaned at my confusing feelings. I need to find him, gather some type of information. But how..? I feel a smirk coming on my face. 'What was it jade said?' I pondered, 'ah yes, seduction is power.' I go to my closet looking for the sexiest outfit I could find. 'Today is going to be a good day.'

*Time Skip*

'I may be a bit in over my head,' I thought. I wore tight leather pants with some leather high heel boots. A blood red tank top, that was just a tad bit to small, but it works. Over that I had a short leather jacket. I put some light makeup on with red lipstick. My hair was down and wavy, I looked more feminine than I ever had in my life. I go to my window and sneak out, 'wouldn't want mom to see me like this,' I thought. I climbed down and pulled out my tracking device. Batman isn't the only one who's always prepared. It shows he's in Central City in what appears to be an abandoned apartment building. 'Why would he be there? Wouldn't he be home?' I hop on my motorcycle heading towards his location. Many people stare as I go by, I inwardly smirk.

Wally's POV

I woke up the next morning to 8 missed calls from Uncle Barry, 4 from Aunt Iris, 3 from Robin and 16 messages. I flop back down with a groan, 'I'm so screwed once I get home,' I thought. I hear a slight chuckle to my right, "you're quite popular," A female voice says. I quickly jump out of the bed with my daggers at the ready. "Easy there fleet feet," The voice continues, "I just want to.. Talk." I look towards the source of the voice and notice a Cheshire grin pointed towards my way. "Cheshire," I growled, "what are you doing here?" She chuckles, "can't I visit my favorite speedster without trying to kill him?" I roll my eyes, getting out of my defensive position, but not putting my daggers up. She chuckles again, "relax fleet feet, if I was going to kill you I would've done it by now." She stalks over and gently sits on the bed. I stare at her cautiously, then sit and join her.

"We need to talk," She says. I roll my eyes, "take off the mask," To my surprise she does. I see many emotions pass through her eyes, sadness, pain, regret, and hesitation. "Jade-" I start, "they want me to kill you." She says, I just sit there thinking. "Who?" I finally question, I start to smirk, "does Slade know?" She gives a very ladylike snort, "I don't know and no, he doesn't." "Why do they want me dead and why send you?" I ask. "They say you know to much and because I'm the only one who can get close enough and get the job done." "But you won't, right?" She sighs, "no, but I need to give them something though." I look over and notice my flash ring. I get up and grab it, she notices and instantly starts to protest. "Wally you can't." I look over at her and put it in her hand. "Kid flash would have to disappear anyway if Wally West dies. If we don't you'll most likely die."

She sits back and ponders for a bit. "I have an idea actually." She pick up her mask and walks toward me, leans down and kisses me on the cheek. Cheshire puts on her mask and heads for the window. Without looking back she says, "we'll keep in touch." Then jumps out if the window. I walk over towards it and stare out into the city. I see someone staring from on top of the building right across from me. My eyes widen in recognition and I'm off like a bullet.

Artemis POV

I finally reach the building Wally is currently staying in. I notice the tracker hasn't moved an inch which for a speedster is worrisome. I scale the building from across the building, checking the tracker every few seconds. I reach the top and pull out my mini binoculars, 'can't believe I was able to snatch this from Robin,' I thought. I looked through every window, looking for fiery red hair. Instead I found Cheshire's grin looking back at me through the window. I zoom in and notice it's just her mask. 'Jade's there? Why?' I thought. I then notice jade holding the mask and walking towards Wally!? She leans down and kisses him! I feel my blood boil, she soon walks to the window and our eyes lock. She gives me a two finger salute and drops to the ground below. Disappearing in a cloud of smoke. I look back towards the window and notice Wally standing there. Our eyes meet and I instantly dropped the binoculars and take off towards the fire escape. I look back and notice Wally's not there that's when a thought struck me, 'Wally is the mole.' I reach the edge and I come face-to-face with a very angry Wally.

Wally's POV

I reached the top of the building right before Artemis climbed down. She backs up away from me then takes off sprinting the other way. I instantly catch up with her and grab her arms. That's when I noticed her choice of clothing. "... What are you wearing?" I questioned with a stoic face. I try to look at her face, but she's showing to much cleavage. I decide to look the other way instead of her, after awhile she finally speaks. "Don't you like it?" I look over in shock which was a big mistake. She's leaning forward, showing off more cleavage than necessary, with the expression of a kicked puppy. I gulp, "y-you look n-nice and all. What, got a hot date?" She smirks and I can just feel my face burning up. 'What is she doing?' I thought.

Artemis POV

'This is to easy,' I thought. "No," I said casually, tracing random patterns on his chest. He takes a deep breath and grabs my hand, "Artemis, what are you doing here?" I had to stop for a moment, this is the first I've seen him so serious. "I came to visit my favorite speedster." I said, getting closer. He looks at me like I've grown a second head. He takes a couple of steps back then he's gone. He later comes back with a big jacket and throws it over me, effectively covering me up. I sigh, "wally~" I whined, he looks at me for a couple of seconds then runs us to the apartment he was at. He sets me down gently, than quickly walks away.   He sits in the chair while I sit on his bed.. Well, lay on his bed. He looks me up and down, then looks away. "Wally," I start out, "why won't you look at me?" He quickly glances at me, then quickly looks away. I sigh and get up walking towards him. I lean over him, making sure my chest is right near his eye level. "Tell me something Wally," I purred, "do you know something about this Slade person?" He quickly looks at my face, "no." "Then why were you with Cheshire?" I questioned, quickly pulling my dagger out of my boot holding it to his neck. He looks shocked, but it quickly goes away. "I-" He starts, but I cut him off, "you're the mole. Aren't you, Wallace?"
