I am going through this entire story and editing a lot of stuff... Fun🙃

*Wally's POV*

Today was actually a decent day. The team was slowly warming up to Rachel. Beast Boy was kind of backing off of her too; which was always good. Other me and Jinx left a few days ago, due to leaving their city alone to long.
It was nice seeing her, even if it was in another dimension.
I really need to see what she's up to.
Raven decided that I could take a break from magic studying.
Good thing to cause I wanted to look around the city.
You would think after all this time of being here I would have done that by now.

Rachel and Artemis were talking in the corner with Robin.
Rob was playing videogames with Beast Boy and Cyborg.
Starfire and M'gann were cooking, Conner was sitting in the kitchen with them.
Aqualad was perched near the window outlooking the city meditating with Raven.
I walk over to Rachel, reaching out and taking her hand in mine. I tug her arm in the direction of the door, Robin and Artemis getting a smirk on their face before walking either towards the kitchen or couch.
We head outside, walking around, swinging our hands back and forth.

"Wanna go out?" I asked out of the blue, "Like on a date?"
Rachel turned and looked at me with a small smile that made my heart melt.
"Where to?"
"Why don't we wing it? Maybe even one of those cliche dates. Movie and dinner?"  I suggested with a dorky smile.
"Cliche."
"Very."
We chuckle a bit, continuing our walk around the tower.
"Soo.. Yes?" I ask nervously.
"Yes." She answered gently.
I smile, before opening up a portal. She looked at me in shock and pride before stepping through.
"I better not end up in the middle of the ocean."
I wave my hand following, "you won't. Maybe at the desert, but not the ocean."

We arrive at the edge of the beach, facing towards the tower across the water.
I turn to Rachel, luckily we were both in civilian clothes, before grabbing her hand and yanking her towards Jump City.
Walking around a bit we spot an old diner.
In a mysterious tone I asked, "guess what?"
"What?" She asked back curiously.
"I snatched Rob's credit card and I know the pin.. Guess who's ordering everything!"
We run over to the diner across the street laughing and smiling.

Entering we see the place nearly deserted.
Taking a seat in the back we waited for a bit, looking over the menus placed on the table.
Afterwards our waitress arrived. A petite little girl with dyed purple hair with bright green eyes that you would think they were contacts. She was quite pale with freckles across the bridge of her nose. She had black nerd like glasses on and her hair done in a ponytail. She wore the regular diner outfit. All in all she could have been mine and Rachel's child... If we had any of course.

I stared for a bit longer before Rachel cleared her throat.
"Do you all serve herbal tea?" I made a gagging sound and she kicked me under the table.
I jumped, "ow!"
The girl giggled, "um.. Actually we just now started to serve that. And you?"
She looked towards me and that's when I noticed her nametag.
"Well, Emily," her eyes went big, "I want a chocolate milkshake."
"H-how did you..?"
I point at my chest indicating where her nametag was. She looks down with a blush, "O-oh, of course."

She walked away in a rush, Rachel turns to me. "Did you have to give the poor girl a heart attack?"
"What? All I did was give her my order. Not my fault she forgot her name."
"Forgot her name?"
"Her nametag! You know what I mean!"
She chuckles while I most definitely did not pout (*cough*totallydid*cough*).
"So Rachel... Tell me a few things about yourself." I turn and try to give her a sultry look. Key word: try.
She burst out laughing, startling Emily, who was setting the drinks down.
In the process she ended up spilling all of the drinks all over me and Rachel.
I laugh, "Oh today is going to be a great day!"
"Yay." Rachel dryly said.
