Speed Demon (DISCONTINUED)

Last Time: Part 1

Wally's POV

I was running around Central City, Flash by my side. Raven was in the shadows, keeping a lookout. Flash didn't know, but I think he assumed. It's been nearly a year since I've been home. A year since I moved in with uncle Barry and aunt Iris. A year since I learned my Uncle Barry was the flash. A year since I became Kid Flash. It was amazing, it felt like flying. I just met Robin, the boy wonder. He seemed oddly familiar, but I couldn't place it. I don't think Batman likes me to much, although Flash disagrees. I don't talk much about my time with Slade. Uncle Barry and Aunt Iris think that I just ran away cause of my parents. But Raven knows. She knows everything. I think she secretly looked through my mind, but I'm not sure. But she just seems to know.

"Hey kid, race ya to the house." Said Flash
"You're so on!" I yelled back, picking up the pace
While we were running Flash got called on a mission. "I can trust you to run back home and nowhere else?" He asked
"Yes sir!" I faked saluted. He laughed, reaching over and ruffling my hair. "Get going kid. I'll be back in a flash!" He ran off, I laughed a bit at his terrible joke before running home. I burst through the door running to my room, slamming the door shut. Aunt Iris was away on a business trip which left me all alone since Uncle Barry was away on a mission. 'I wish I could join them. I bet Robin does.' I grouched. I heard giggling behind me. I turned to see Raven floating there giggling. I fake glared at her making her laugh more. I couldn't resist, I started laughing too. After awhile we both calmed down, but the moment we did I got a message from Robin.

Coolestdude: hey, wanna patrol Gotham with me. Bats done gave the ok dude.
I looked at Raven, who was reading over my shoulder. "Can I?" I begged, giving her puppy dog eyes. She giggled, "you don't have to ask me."
Fastestkidalive: sure dude! I'll be right over!
I smiled, picked Raven up, and spinned her around. She giggled the most cutest giggle. I sat her down, a blush on her face. I realized she must have heard me. I blushed along with her, both of us looking everywhere but at each other. I kept my arms around her waste and she kept her hands on my shoulder. I finally got the courage to look at her and when I did the world stopped. She was looking at me, two big, beautiful violet eyes looking at me. I felt my breath hitch, my grip tightened around her. I leaned in, noticing her doing the same. We were mere centimeters apart, I closed my eyes then-
BZZZ!!
We jumped apart and I pulled out my phone, answering it.
"Hello?" I asked
"Dude, are you coming or not?" Questioned Robin, sounding irritated.
"Course dude!" I responded instantly
"Then get going, kid slow," he said cackling
"Kid flash!" I corrected, "And I'll be there in a flash!" I yelled hanging up, hearing him groan on the other end. I looked back at where Raven was, but noticed her gone. I sighed, I might have just lost my best friend.

*time skip*

Me and Robin ended up fighting Two-Face, the Penguin, and even Riddler. They apparently teamed up to take over Gotham. 'Cliche' I thought. I heard giggling in my head and knew it was Raven. It was late at night, me and Robin having finished up early. We were playing video games, before I heard the tiniest whisper in the back of my mind.
'Azerath Metrino Zinthos.' I could barely hear it, but it was there. A soft smile formed on my lips. I had to see her.
"Hey Rob," I said pausing the game. He looked at me, "I think I'mma head home dude."
He looked shocked, "I thought you were staying the night?" he asked
"Yea, but I have somewhere I need to be," I explained.
He gave a confused look, before a sly smile formed on his lips, "you mean SOMEONE to see."
A blush formed on my face, him cackling at me.
"Whatever," I said embarrassed.
He chuckled a bit, "ok dude, you can go." I smiled, gave him a fist bump, and ran off. I was running back to Central, when a yellow blur cut me off. I slowed down and stared in the direction it went. "That wasn't the flash," I mumbled to myself. That's when the yellow streak ran by again, this time hitting me. I skidded across the pavement. "Definitly not the flash," I wheezed. I heard someone laughing a couple feet ahead of me. I stood up, instantly turning to look at the source. He was some man in a yellow version of the flash suit. I instantly knew who it was.
He laughed, "I am not the flash. Im better than him! I'm-"
"Reverse flash, I know." I said, rolling my eyes. He glared, before charging at me. I dodged his punch easily, but what I didn't anticipated was him to instantly turn around and punch me in my back. I screamed in pain, while he ran around me punching me left and right. I got up, bruises and cuts everywhere. Blood was dripping out of my mouth and nose, out of all my wounds. I couldn't do this, he was to fast. I got up and waited for an opening. 'And, THERE!' I rammed into him sending him flying. While he was down, I ran the opposite way. I heard him chuckle then take off after me. I was running for my life. 'RAVEN!'
I screamed in my head, 'HELP!' I ran and ran until I got to a field. He caught up, ramming into my back. I felt a snap in my leg and knew my leg was broke. I cried in pain while I rolled on the ground, finally coming to a stop. I laid there panting, my vision blurry. I felt myself being rolled over, looking up with blurry vision I see reverse flash. 'Hang on wally, I'm coming!' Yelled Raven in my head. I groaned in pain, everything hurt and everything was to loud. 'Didn't really put up a fight.' I Thought. 'The flash could've done so much better than me.'

I realized that RF was talking, but I couldn't focus. But I did hear, "time to die little speedster." I looked over and saw a portal open."Raven," I whispered. She looks at us and raises her hands screaming. All of a sudden pain blossemed through my chest. My eyes widened. He just vibrated his hand through my chest and heart. I stared wide eyed at Raven, watching her scream and cry. She blasted RF off of me, but the moment his hand left my chest darkness enveloped me. 'I failed,' was my last thought, before I took my last breath, staring into Raven's eyes.
