|| Lucas ||

Lucas woke late the next morning. The show's after party had run late and he was exhausted after the show and late night party.

Lucas was a well payed model and he owned a fairly large home. His room was big but he never really noticed how open the space was. His mahogany bed sat against the middle of the wall and a floor to roof window adorned the side parallel to his bed. A matching white couch set and rug was on the other side of his bed and a door led to his large closet. The rooms in his house were full of little decoration and well organized. He often had his friend Sicheng come to his house to redesign the place. He was an interior designer and his ability to colour match and organize was amazing.

He never noticed the extravagancy of his home but today, the photographer from the previous night still played in his mind and the house seemed unfamiliarly empty.

The model laid in bed for a while longer until he finally decided he needed to do something if he wanted to get that boy's face out of his head. He washed up and put on some jeans and a comfortable sweater. He pulled on a pair of sneakers and got in his car. He drove around for a while as he tried to figure out where exactly he was going. The boy circled the town a few times and finally decided to pull over and call his high school friend.

The phone rang a few times until the Japanese boy responded on the other end.

"Hey, Lucas! I saw your show last night. The pictures look amazing." His loyal friend Yuta complimented.

"Ummm, speaking of that..." Lucas tried to stall for time. He didn't want to admit it, but he couldn't stop thinking of Jungwoo and he wanted to get to know that boy better.

"Uh oh, what happened?" Yuta prodded.

"Are you free right now? Could I stop by?" Lucas asked.

"Just give me a minute. Sicheng's here." Lucas could hear his friend pull away from the phone and call out to the other boy. He returned to the phone a few minutes after.

"Yeah, come over. We're just sitting here." Yuta confirmed"

The two hung up their call and Lucas made his way to the familiar home.

Lucas crossed town until he reached Yuta's house. He pulled into the driveway and walked to the front steps. He raised his fist to the door but stopped before he knocked. Was this really something he wanted to get into? He had never seen the blue haired, shy boy before last night and now he was taking time out of his day to go to his friends house and probably talk his face off about the boy. He had a very public image and everything he did made people talk. He had to be careful of his actions.

Lucas shook his worries from his head and rasped his knuckles against the door. What was a conversation with his closest friend going to do? He came here for advice, after all and he knew that if what he wanted to do was a bad idea, yuta would tell him and push him in the right direction. Lucas could hear quick footsteps approach the door until his one and only wing man stood before the model.

"Mister 'Maude Modelle's top model Lucas Wong', what have you gotten yourself into this time?" Yuta mocked.

"Oh, shut up." Lucas lazily smacked his friend's shoulder.

"Are you going to let me in or not?" Lucas pushed past his friend and put his coat and shoes in the closet. He could hear Yuta snickering to himself still propped in the doorway.

Yuta returned to his living room with Lucas in tow then brought his friend a glass of water. Although he enjoyed pushing his friend's buttons, he did care for the guy and he could see that something clearly important to his friend was pulling at his mind. He returned to the couch and placed himself back beside Sicheng, where his place was still indented from his body weight.

Sicheng and Lucas normally got along pretty well. After Yuta introduced his boyfriend, Sicheng to his close friend, they started getting along shortly after. The quiet was uncomfortable and he eventually broke the unusual silence.

"Alright, I'm done bugging you. What going on?" Lucas' gaze shifted from his knuckles to his friend's face. Yuta noticed that the other boy's neck and ears reddened.

"So, uh." It was obvious that Lucas was struggling to find the right words.

"There's this photographer from Caller Magazine..." Lucas started to explain.

"Okay." Sicheng prodded.

"And he's really good at what he does. I think he's the lead photographer. Apparently he's worked on a few of the photoshoots for the fashion lines and he's always at the runway shows." Lucas started rambling.

"There's nothing wrong with admiring someone, Lucas." Yuta assured.

"No, I don't think that's what it is." Lucas started clenching the fabric of the couch.

"Calm down, Lucas. There's nothing wrong." Sicheng tried to bring his friend back to reality. His friend wasn't making any sense. From what he was saying, there was no reason to be as worked up as he was.

"Get to the point, Lucas." Yuta was naturally impatient and although he wanted to help his friend, he needed to get to the point and tell him the actual problem so that he could fix the situation.

"I don't know!" Lucas yelled. He grabbed a fistful of his hair and stared down at his lap.

"I just can't stop thinking about him and his work is amazing and he's really cute and adorable and I just want him to be mine and I can't get him out of my head! I don't know what to do!" Lucas complained more. Sicheng reached for his glass of water.

"I think you like him." Yuta shrugged. Sicheng's shoulders jerked and he spat water over the coffee table.

"You? But I thought you weren't interested in guys." Sicheng stumbled over his words.

"I'm not! That's why this is bothering me." Lucas whined.

"I think you like him. Stop lying to yourself, Lucas. I didn't want to say anything, but I had a feeling you liked him." Yuta blurted out.

"N-no. I don't like him. Why would I like him?" Lucas kept fidgeting in his spot.

"Just think about it." Pushed Yuta.

"You can stay the night if you want to, but tomorrow you're going to go home and figure this out. I gave you my advice, now go think for a bit and figure out a plan."
