~~Jungwoo~~
The days that followed seemed almost euphoric for Jungwoo. Things were finally going the way he wanted them to and he was happy with his life. He finally found the courage he'd been trying to obtain for almost a year and finally talked to Lucas. The outcome better than he could have ever imagined. His career passed smoothly. He worked endless hours to earn the position of main photographer and started to be sent to many more photoshoots. His small desk was given an upgrade and moved into his own private room. The walls were a light gray but he covered them with his favourite pictures he'd taken from runway shows and serious photoshoots. The change in work area also made traveling from home much easier. With the new room, came a door, and doors locked. On the second day of having his new space, Jungwoo decided to push a small shelf inside and added some filing cabinets to store his hard work. No more lugging heavy and endless amounts of equipment back and forth between home, photoshoots and his work. He called Lucas and asked for some help when he moved his belongings. He did need the help to carry so many things, but he figured that inviting Lucas to the mall would be a sly way to set up a date. Jungwoo's excitement grew when Lucas replied with an immediate yes.
Earlier that morning, Jungwoo heard a knock echo through his house. He peered though the small peep-hole in the door and quickly unlocked it when he saw Lucas on the other side, standing in the hallway.
"Good morning." Lucas sung in his low voice. It was a warm sound that relaxed Jungwoo. Lucas stepped through the doorway and smiled down at his date, before resting his hands on Jungwoo's shoulders comfortingly.
"You ready to go?" Lucas looked over Jungwoo's head and scanned the space around him for a bag or anything that he thought Jungwoo would be bringing.
"I don't have to bring anything, we're buying it all." Jungwoo joked.
"True, true." Lucas laughed back. His smile was wide and pushed his eyes upward, shaping them into half-moons.
"Let's go, then." Lucas took Jungwoo's hand and pulled him out of the apartment and into the elevator. Jungwoo watched as Lucas pushed the button for the first floor and smiled to himself. Jungwoo never thought that he would meet someone with such a humble heart. Someone who cared so much about him, regardless of his status. Lucas was a big-shot model and had at least three times more money stored in his bank account. Regardless, Lucas never looked down to Jungwoo as if the latter was somehow worth less than he was. Jungwoo glanced at Lucas while they descended in the small space. Lucas stood still and glanced mindlessly at the wall in front of him. Contempt to be where he was. He smiled lightly, not saying much. He didn't need to. Jungwoo could feel the passion for himself that buzzed through Lucas' body.
The elevator ride didn't take long and soon enough, Lucas was opening the passenger door for Jungwoo. He directed Lucas to the nearest furniture store and waited quietly while Lucas found an open parking space. Jungwoo was surprised when Lucas circled the car to help Jungwoo out. Was that something people still did? Jungwoo wouldn't know. His knowledge in the dating field was close to non existent. Nonetheless, he gladly took Lucas' hand and continued to lace their fingers together while they walked into the store. It was a great feeling, but Jungwoo's mood slowly wavered as he noticed people looking at them. Lucas more specifically. He pulled his hand away quickly, his eyes opening wide. He could feel Lucas' stares as they walked beside each other, no longer making any physical contact.
"Lucas, they're staring." Jungwoo mumbled up at Lucas. He needed to raise his voice slightly, since his head just reached Lucas' shoulders. Damn models and their height.
"So? Let them." The response didn't surprise Jungwoo. Lucas was used to the attention. As a famous model, he was bound to be watched wherever he went.
