(A.N: These are all going to have ridiculously bad and uncreative titles...help)

"Hey, whazzup man?" I fist bumped my friend heading toward my way in the hall. Normally one not up for social interaction, he finally managed to raise his eyes off of his trainers enough to process a fist casually flying his way as well as a friendly face.. "Hey Kaede... how are you?" he said, quietly.

"I'm fine now Micah, thanks to you being the only person to ask me that today," I replied, glaring into the sea of students that surrounded us. He sighed, "You know, no random-o is going to walk up to you and say 'Heya there friendo! How was your day? Well mine was fine! Fine and dandy!'"

"That may be true, but come on! At least have the decency to deliver a greeting or something!"

"Um, did I mention that you never even greet your friends most of the time? I also don't see you going around to everyone saying 'hello'"

"Well obviously you don't know me that well if you don't already know that I'm the Queen of Hypocrites."

"Right..." he teased.

"Shush." Moving with him, we arrived at our next class: biology. Personally, I'm hoping to major in biology and minor in chemistry or art, but I don't actually know if I will. It's still a long way to the Academia. We sat down at our desks, me sitting on the far left desk of the third row with him sitting to my right. Just then, someone I am very acquainted with walked in through the door and started towards us. I moaned and put my head on the desk. Not again. "Heeeeeey Kaede! Heeeeeey Micah! How are you guys doing? I just, I'm like, oh my gosh sooo, like good right now!" she babbled.

"I'm fine, Cinnamon. Thank you for asking," murmured Micah.

"Please leave and never come back," I muttered. Blonde here was not making it easy for me to start on the warm up.

"What did you say, hon?"

"Nothing. Now can you please move to your desk? You're blocking the board."

"Yes! Sure thing, hon!" She swaggered over to the open seat next to Micah. That's the thing with this class. Normally I would like that he didn't assign seats, but that also gave the freedom for Blonde to sit over here. Micah glanced over at me, shook his head at a miniscule amount and turned back to the warm up. Unfortunately, his head movement could be interpreted a variety of ways. From what I could tell, it was either "No, please don't say anything or blow up," "No, she doesn't have a crush on me, she sat there because there are no seats by your seat," or "This girl is crazy. I don't approve." I decided to take it as was most offensive to her. The bell rung for a glorious five seconds, in which Blonde's annoying preppy girl voice was drowned out. Professor Calia strolled in holding a scalpel leisurely at his side. "Let us begin."
