"Well that was interesting."
"You can say that again," I mumbled. "Well, I guess we don't have to go to our classes? Because the other graduates aren't? I don't know. See you tomorrow?"
"Yah, yah. Got it bruoisku."
"Bruoisku? Really?"
"Yes," he started walking away before gradually beginning to gallop, "AWAY, MY STEED!" I laughed and turned the other way to get back into my dormitory. Best not to found wandering at school between classes, graduate or not. As I walked out of the ominous glass double doors on the side of the biology building, I saw Micah on the other side come out of the medical building. I held a bemused smirk on my face. Even from afar I could see that he already reverted back into his antisocial stage. I sighed. As always.
I kept walking to my dorm, unperturbed by his change in attitude or even the light snow that was dusting the ground. The swift snapping of my heels against the hard sidewalk created a steady beat for me to hum to. Too bad the dorms were so close. I might have been able to finish the entire song on the lines of the rhythm I was tapping out, but no, the dorms just had to be exactly 200 metres away. (excuse my spelling of metres XD). Huffing in annoyance, I made my way to the room I shared with Marilyn. Without knocking on the door, I walked in. "Hey Marilyn do you think that- oh, okay. I'LL LEAVE YOU NOW. BYE." I darted out from the room as soon as possible, seeing that Marilyn had her girlfriend over. Whenever she was there, things got a little... heated. I learned that from first hand experience and never wanted to experience that again.
Marching out, I dropped by the complex laundry room to pick up the clothes I was washing. "Two hoodies, five pairs of sweatpants, three pairs of jeans..." I muttered, checking things off in my head, "Okie dokie I'm done." I picked up my stuff, made my way back to the dorm, opened the door, threw my stuff in, and shut it after. I started towards my motorcycle. Gotta have time for tea, homework, and shopping, right? I started towards the local tea cafe, as there was no use in supporting those chains. They probably already had more money than they needed. My bike bounced across the rocky and cracked road, and as I passed by a bar, a guy got on his bike and started to follow me. Pulling back so I was parallel him, I screamed above the wind "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"
"Only for you to come back to the bar with me~" he replied, whisky strong on his breath. I stared at him at disgust.
"What even, dude." We were at a light, so our voices could be at a normal conversation volume. "Well you seem like a nice lady and-"
"Save it. Go back to your buddies or whatever."
"What? The little lady scared of a little fun~?"
"I said. Save. It." Pulling out my gun in case for emergencies, I leveled it at him. He only smirked and said, "I don't think you're gonna shoot me now, hey?"
"Maybe not you, but your bike, yes." Just as the light changed back to green, I shot both his tires and sped off. "Annoying drunks," I muttered. Today was going just great.
