"Thank you for tonight oppa, it was the best date we've ever been on." Mina confessed as they made their way out of the restaurant, stomachs and hearts full of happiness.
The food had been lovely and the conversation interesting, summing up to a great night out. It was most definitely the best date they had ever been on and they could both agree on that.
"It's my pleasure Jagiya...I love you." Taehyung mumbles nervously, causing Mina to stop in her tracks and turn around to look at him
She was shocked and unable to speak. Mina had heard multiple stories about Taehyung when she transferred to the college they were in, most of them not very flattering. Things like he was a player, not able to feel properly for people. That he messed with people's feelings and hurt them emotionally until they were left broken, unable to even function properly
Mina had chosen to ignore these rumours and find out who Taehyung was on her own. She had been brought up to not believe everything she heard which she was glad for as it pushed her towards Taehyung.
She had quickly realised that he was nothing like how they described him to be. Quite the opposite actually
He was caring and compassionate, full of life and passion for the things that he cared about. Taehyung wasn't the type of person to give up on achieving what he wanted and would do anything to get it, driven by a stubborn mind and a hard heart.
She loved him for it
In fact, she just loved Taehyung in general in which she had only just come to terms with. She loved Taehyung
"F-Forget I said anything." Taehyung stuttered, hurt lacing his tone. Never had he felt so crushed before and he now felt for the people he had hurt in the past by not returning their feelings
He had took Mina's silence and lack of movement as a sign that she didn't love him back and it was awful. He convinced himself in that short time that it was his fault, karma for all the times that he had played with girls' hearts.
That was until Mina quickly smashed her lips onto his and kissed him passionately, arms wrapped around his neck securely as if she didn't want to let him move away from her. Passion and love burst out of their chests and wrapped around them like a blanket, keeping them warm and secure in each other.
"I love you too, Taehyung oppa." She mumbled after breaking the kiss, a large smacking sound following the action.
It was the like the stars aligned for the both of them, everything was going to plan and they couldn't have been happier. Mina had Taehyung and Taehyung had Mina, it was everything that they could wish for
The feeling was euphoric
But little did they know that it was all going to come crashing down in front of them without being able to prevent it.
All because of a stupid mistake that Taehyung had made only 9 months before
