"Do you want to hang out today?" Mina asked Taehyung over the phone, flicking through the channels on her TV absentmindedly. She wasn't even interested in the TV, she was just bored and looking for something to do.

It had only been around 5 days since they both confessed to each other and things had been going pretty well. Mina could feel her love for him growing stronger everyday and Taehyung felt the same.

"I'm going grocery shopping for me and Jimin today, sorry Jagiya. Maybe tomorrow?" he suggested while putting his shoes on, resting his phone on his neck while tying his laces.

Taehyung didn't really have any intentions of going shopping that day and he knew it. The guys had asked him to hang out and he had accepted after not seeing them for a while. He has always been busy with Mina, not that he was complaining of course. He loved hanging out with her

He had wanted to tell Mina the truth but when he had gone to tell her, completely different words fell out of his mouth. He couldn't explain what had happened and he was confused, wanting to come clean about his lie already but couldn't bring himself to do it

"Oh, that's fine. Can we facetime tonight?" She asked as she was going to miss him when he was out. Mina had become so accustomed to being with him all the time that she very was attached

Mina felt like she was being clingy but knew that Taehyung was her boyfriend so she could ask things like this. There was nothing wrong with it and it was a harmless request. She couldn't help but panic when he hesitated to reply, doubts and worries spreading through her thoughts like a wild fire

"I'll see what I feel like when I get home, bye I love you." He said softly, avoiding elaborating on what he meant purposely. With everything that had happened in the last 2 minutes, Taehyung thought it would be best to keep conversation to a minimum

"I love you too oppa." Mina replies, trying desperately hard to ignore the heat that had instantly spread across her cheeks. The shy girl just couldn't get used to the butterflies that would flutter in her stomach whenever she talked to him

Taehyung quickly ended the call and stood up straight, feeling incredibly guilty for lying to Mina about something so small. She would've understood that he was busy so why did he lie?

He pushed all the thoughts of Mina to the back of his mind as he went outside to meet his friends, fist bumping and hugging them all. Taehyung tried to smile on the outside but it wasn't sincere as he worried about his lies

Meanwhile, Mina was sat in her dorm room all alone as her dorm mate had gone out and she hadn't managed to make many friends. She had never been a social butterfly which is why she was always nervous and shy around Taehyung

Mina unlocked her phone while sighing and went on snapchat, planning to look at peoples' stories as she had nothing better to do. There wasn't anything special in her life to go on snapchat and the only time she ever posted was when she was with Taehyung, goofy videos and bad pictures spread across her story

And when a picture of Taehyung and a huge group of people popped up on one of them, Mina felt a large lump of hurt settle in her heart. Her insecure thoughts suddenly ate her alive

In her eyes, Taehyung had lied to her and blew her off just so he could go and have a good time with his friends. He hadn't even thought to ask her to go with him and he was surrounded by girls.

Mina felt insecure and used.

She locked her phone and put it on her bedside table before getting under the blanket and trying to sleep, thoughts of Taehyung being dishonest still floating around inside her brain
