Mina didn't know what to say, shocked by both Yoongi's words and the tone he had used to say them. She had never seen Yoongi look so disappointed or angry, basically foaming at the mouth although his eyes were drooping in sadness.

"N-No..Wha...I..." Mina rambled, panicking under Yoongi's glare as she tried to explain herself. Deep down Mina knew that she had been leading Yoongi on but she'd really wanted to get to know him better, though maybe not in the way that he wanted her to.

"You've been messing with my head. Going on dates, hanging around with me and my friends and you're so touchy with me. For a second you had me fooled and I think that's what has made me so disappointed. I thought you were different than other girls Mina but Im afraid I was wrong. You've been stringing me along when you had absolutely no intention of being with me. Admit that you still love him!" Yoongi yelled, slamming his palms down on the steering wheel out of anger.

"Okay! I still love Taehyung and I hate myself for it because after everything he has done to me, I still can't let go of him! No matter what I do or who i'm with, he always manages to claw his way back into my thoughts and i'm left powerless against it. Yes, I did use you but not in the way that you're thinking. While i'm with you, I feel like Taehyung isn't invading me thoughts - even if it's only for a short amount of time. I'm sorry Yoongi, i'm so so sorry!" Mina sobbed, covering her eyes with her hands as she wailed loudly.

Yoongi's heart softened slightly at the sight of the girl he had been beginning to fall in love with. Sure he was hurt that he didn't have a chance when he'd thought that he had but seeing her so messed up about the situation made his anger slowly melt away from him.

Without replying, Yoongi wrapped his arms around Mina's neck and pulled her into his chest in a tight embrace. Mina instantly melted into the gesture of affection and took a deep breath, attempting stop the range of sobs that were breaking through her lips. She hadn't known that Yoongi had felt that way.

It felt like an eternity that they were sat there in the space of the small car, the rain and thunder outside being the only sounds to be heard. Neither of the two wanted to break away from each other though they knew that they would eventually have to.

After admitting what she'd tried so hard to deny, Mina was beginning to realise a lot of things about the situation between her and Taehyung. It was clear to her now that she'd never really gotten over Tae, having chosen to cover up her feelings instead of expressing them and dealing with them that way.

"I'm so sorry Yoongi, you didn't deserve this!" Mina cried as she pulled herself away from him, not feeling like she deserved to be comforted by him after everything she had done to him. Everything between her and Yoongi had gone to far too fast and now everything was falling to pieces right in front of them.

"It's okay Mina, you cant help how you feel." Yoongi said softly while rubbing Mina's back, having to hold himself from crying too. To say that he hadn't even had feelings for her until just a week before, Yoongi was still deeply affected by the rejection.

It just reminded him why he didn't like to catch feelings for anyone.

"I do care for you Yoongi, I swear I do. B-But... me and Taehyung go way back. After everything he's done to me I still love him and I can't help but be drawn to him. I...I think he's my soulmate." Mina said softly as she dried her tears on her sleeve, feeling pathetic for breaking down in such a way when she had no reason the cry. After bottling up her emotions for so long, they had all come bursting out of her before she could stop them.

"You don't have to explain yourself to me Y/n, I get it. I just hope that we can continue to be friends because I value our friendship. It's getting late." Yoongi said worriedly before starting the car again and driving Mina home, not giving her chance to reply as she mulled over what had just happened.

She'd made out with Taehyung and then broken Yoongi's heart, all within the space of 10 minutes. There had never been a time that Mina had felt so confused but so sure before in her life, everything feeling as if it had finally fallen into place.

"I...I'll see you around Yoongi." Mina said with a small smile on your face while getting out of the car after having spent the journey home in uncomfortable silence. Yoongi just nodded in acknowledgement before waving as he drove away, straight into the sunset that was looming over the Horizon.

As soon as she entered her dorm, Mina pulled out her phone and began to furiously type a message to the one person she needed to see the most.
